[New Game] Disney's Monsters University For Android Is Now In Session In The Play Store

Monsters University is about to hit theaters, so you know what that means? It's time to milk the potential audience for all its worth - ahem, I mean - it's time to get schooled on all you need to know to enjoy tomorrow's big movie debut. Monsters University is the prequel to Pixar's Monsters, Inc., a movie that I am shocked to say is now over ten years old. Today's Google Play release contains not just one game, but two.

[New Game] Square Enix's Drakerider Flies Into Google Play With Dragons And The Usual High Price

If you have $15 to spare and a love of serious RPG's, Square Enix has your number. Drakerider has just arrived in Google Play, and this isn't a port of a console game. It's a new experience designed specifically for touchscreens.

In Drakerider you ride around on a dragon completing tasks and doing battle. The fighting system is a little different than most RPGs. You keep control of your dragon mount with the reins when you need more control, but ease up to allow it to attack enemies.

Eden To Green Opens Up On The Play Store, Now Available To Tree-Huggers Everywhere

After an initial release in Canada, Zynga's latest attempt to addict millions of mobile gamers is now available to the greater Play Store. Eden to Green fits broadly in the tower defense genre, with a variety of flowers fighting off an army of invading machines. (So it's like Terminator meets The Happening.) The game is a free download, though device support seems a bit spotty: my ancient HTC Incredible shows as compatible, while my nearly-new Galaxy Note 8.0 does not.

[New Game] Disney Can't Stop Licensing: Where's My Mickey Now Available For $.99, XL Tablet Version For $1.99

Will someone please tell Disney to stop passing the Where's My Water property around the corporate offices? After the physics puzzle game and its cutesy alligator mascot gained a nice little fanbase on Android, Where's My Perry was released last year, with a somewhat odd tie-in to the Phineas And Ferb cartoon. Now Disney has reached all the way back to Mister Mouse himself, and Where's My Mickey is available on the Google Play Store.

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition Removed From The iOS App Store, Android Version On Indefinite Hold

There's bad news for those of you who were hoping to play Bioware's classic PC dungeon crawler Baldur's Gate on your tablets. The Enhanced Edition has been removed from Apple's iOS App Store, making new purchases impossible. That doesn't mean a lot for Android gamers, but the reasons behind this move have implications for the Android launch. According to the official game website, the publisher insisted that the game be pulled based on a "contractual issue." Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition for Android is now on hold.

Scribblenauts Remix Finally Draws Its Way Into The Play Store, Available For $0.99

People first played Scribblenauts on the Nintendo DS and declared: It was good. The series was then ported to consoles, the PC, iOS, and Android via the Amazon Appstore, and it was good. But there was a problem, who uses the Amazon Appstore? While people scratched their heads and terrorized the town in search of such a person, Scribblenauts Remix made its way into the Play Store. And lo, it was still good.

Verizon's D:COM DROID Augmented Reality Game Leaks Early, APK Available For Download Now [Updated]

If you're just dying to try out Verizon's much-hyped augmented reality game fashioned after the company's DROID advertisements... well, then you've probably got some very strange tastes. The @DroidLanding Twitter account was re-activated yesterday after its usual inter-device slumber as a precursor to this game.
