If you're into massive, sprawling strategy RPG's, HyperDevBox Studio's Spectral Souls, Blazing Souls, and Generation of Chaos are titles you may already own. If you don't, though, now's probably the best time to invest, as HyperDev has slashed prices on its entire library by 50%.

The price drop brings all three of the developer's games down to near as makes no difference to $7 apiece, and all of them are top-quality ports of old JRPG's from the original PlayStation.

Don Bluth... What happened? You had such a good run. You made film history by actually giving Disney a run for it's money with Secret of NIMH, An American Tail, and The Land Before Time. They were classics! But then Rock-A-Doodle happened. Then Thumbelina. Then...lord forgive me for speaking it's name...A Troll in Central Park. The decline was quick and painful. Before the movies started getting weird, though, Dragon's Lair came out and revolutionized the laser disc gaming industry (no seriously).

My fondest memories of the original Star Wars films were the starfighter dogfights. The first time you see the assault run on the Death Star, or the ill-fated attack on the second before it was finished, it's really cool to watch a bunch of fighter craft flying around, blowing the heck out of each other. Every once in a while, you can get the same sense of scale and calamity in a game - usually of the real-time strategy variety.

Hourblast Games and 6waves, the publisher of such hits as Strikefleet Omega and OFFWORLD, have released Dueling Blades, a fantasy RPG that combines strategy elements with social networking. What makes this game stand out from the mass of other similar titles is its interesting combat system that's described as "simultaneous turn strategy."

Like the description suggests, the combat in Dueling Blades is turn-based, but the execution of the players' actions happens simultaneously.

Ant Raid has been a long time coming for Android gamers. After the game received no small amount of notoriety on iOS, Herocraft has finally seen fit to release it to our fair platform, just in time for you to ignore your family over the holidays. Even better, they're discounting it for the launch, so you can pick it up for just a dollar at the moment.

The gameplay is somewhere between Starcraft and Pikmin.

Even though ExZeus 2 was announced for this summer, it’s not until this weekend that it finally came to Google Play. The reasons behind the delay of the sequel to ExZeus Arcade (which is currently rated 4.2/5) are unknown, but it’s worth noting that for now the game is only compatible with NVIDIA Tegra devices. Other versions are scheduled to be released by the end of the year.

So, what’s ExZeus 2 all about?

Smack in the middle of the holiday season, Gameloft has cut prices on just about all of its paid games in a "Holiday Frenzy." If you've got a couple dollars to spare and some time to kill, Gameloft likely has something you'll enjoy, slicing prices on everything from The Adventures of Tin Tin to Wild Blood down to a mere $0.99. Conspicuously absent from the sale is Modern Combat 4, but the 12 other deals make up for its exclusion (though this writer posits that the game may just be worth its $6.99 price tag).

Look, folks, today is the perfect day to watch a light-hearted video of a real-life fruit ninja chopping fruit, getting smacked in the face with bananas, avoiding bombs like the plague, all topped with adorable kittens flying by in slo-mo. In fact, any day is the perfect day to watch that, especially when it's accompanied by a Dubstep sound track. Still not convinced? Fine, I'll give you two more reasons. It's a Sunday before the laziest and least productive week of the year, and it's Christmas Eve Eve.
