Telltale Games Is Bringing The Walking Dead Adventure Game To OUYA Later This Year

If you're a dedicated PC or console gamer, odds are pretty good that you've at least heard of The Walking Dead from Telltale Games. And sometime later this year, it's coming to OUYA.

According to a post on Telltale's blog, all five episodes of The Walking Dead and the well-received DLC episode 400 Days will be coming to the little Android console that could this winter.

Contra: Evolution Review: Just As Frustrating As The Original, But For Different Reasons

I spent a measurable amount of the early 90's playing Contra on NES. Admittedly, I lacked the manual dexterity at the time to beat the game without using the Konami Code, but now I can take another swing at it on Android. Contra: Evolution is the same game it was in the early 90's, but with a few extra elements.

Contra was indisputably one of the finest shooters of its era, but does it translate well to the modern mobile ecosystem?

Asphalt 8 Airborne Review: You'll Believe A Car Can Fly

Gameloft has released eight games in the Asphalt series in just under nine years. If practice makes perfect, then Asphalt 8 should be nothing less than the greatest racing game ever made. It doesn't quite live up to that lofty goal, but as a top-tier Android game and an impressive arcade-style racer in its own right, it's worth your attention even if you're only casually interested in racing games.

Between the Hot Wheels physics, licensed cars, online play, and gorgeous presentation, Asphalt 8 is worth a lot more than its $1 asking price.

The year was 1993. A young President Clinton was embarking on what was sure to be a scandal-free presidency, Whitney Houston was topping the charts with nothing but fame and fortune in front of her, and Simon the Sorcerer was released on Amiga and MS-DOS. You could say this game has had more lingering appeal than a lot of things from 1993, and now it's available on Android in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

Contra: Evolution Updated With Support For 'High-Resolution Devices' And Fewer Permissions

The Android faithful have been eagerly awaiting the release of Contra: Evolution, but there were some irksome issues when the game finally launched last week. You could only install it on phones, and when you did, the list of permissions was a little bonkers. Well, both of those points have been addressed in a new update.

2013-08-22 23.04.35

Contra: Evolution can now be installed on virtually any Android device. It was a little bizarre that it didn't allow tablet installations seeing as a number of the phones it supported were higher resolution than some tablets.
