Mobile Passport App Now Lets You Skip The Line At San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

Mobile Passport lets you be that guy who gets to skip the regular line at the airport just by pulling out your phone. You provide the app with information about yourself and your trip, then submit everything once you land. Then you follow signs for "Mobile Passport Control" (which might as well say Cool People), and you're off to go about your day.

The latest version of the app adds support for San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

Microsoft's Hyperlapse Video App Is Out Of Beta And Available To Everyone

Microsoft started a beta test for its Hyperlapse video app a while back, but today it's out of beta and ready for download. This app takes a boring video and speeds it up into a clean time lapse clip. It doesn't have a ton of settings to play with, but most of the magic is automatic.

Inbox By Gmail Poised To Automatically Suggest The Best Time For Snoozed Emails To Come Back

Since its inception it seems that Inbox, by Google's Gmail team, has had the goal of streamlining your email experience in mind. To accomplish that goal, it makes every email a task, lets you quickly triage messages, and pulls out highlights like reservations, plane tickets, or attachments for faster access. But, according to the official Gmail blog, Inbox is getting one more cool feature starting now: the ability to automatically choose the best snooze date for your messages.

Google Play Music v6.0.1950S Fixes The SD Card Cached Music Removal Bug [APK Download]

Google Play Music has seen its fair share of bugs in the spotlight over the past few weeks, including the web app's failure to stream All Access songs on multiple browsers (and its subsequent fix) and the weird reported bug of cached music being wiped from Android devices when SD card storage had been enabled. The latter's fix has rolled out with the latest update to the Android app.

Previously, users who had downloaded some Play Music songs for offline playback and toggled the app's setting switch to use SD card storage found that their tunes disappeared when the phone was rebooted or the card was removed and reinserted.

SoundCloud Finally Brings Related Tracks To Android, Fixes A Few Bugs Too

If you use SoundCloud to listen to music and audio from your favorite artists, podcasters, DJs, and other audio genies, you've probably wondered why the Android app doesn't have the "related tracks" feature that has been present in iOS and the web version for a while. After all, it's so much easier to discover new tracks to your liking when they're recommended based on what you already know you love, than to go manually hunt for them and fall into a spiral of mediocre audio that doesn't suit your taste.

VLC For Android Beta 1.5 Gets Fewer Permissions, More Material, Video Playlists, And Some Other Features

VLC For Android has been steadily improving over the past months, but today's beta update is a big step forward to the app that even the developers acknowledge as a "major release."

VLC went through a hardcore bootcamp between versions 1.3.2 and 1.5.0, emerging with enhancements all across the board. Internally, the app's code has been rewritten to be faster and to require fewer permissions especially on KitKat devices and above. Externally, the app's design has been given a small facelift to better fit Material's clean and elegant look.

Amazon Shopping App Adds Gift Card Scanning, Voice Commands, And Amazon.mx Support In The Latest Update

Readers, we have a confession to make. This update to the Amazon shopping app actually came out on June 30th, over two weeks ago. Sorry about that. We spotted it, both on the Play Store and on APK Mirror, but didn't notice anything particularly new about it because Amazon neglected to upload a change log. They've done so today, and the new version (5.6.2.100 on my Nexus 6) actually adds some important new features to the app.

Dropbox Adds Collaborative Comments In Version 3.0.1, But Nobody Cares Because Now It Does Native GIF Viewing

In the latest version, Dropbox adds a much-needed favor for collaborative teams and users who rely on effective communication across updated files. But who gives a crap about that, because the app has also added GIF support.

ezgif-2071153590

Version 3.0.1 lets you view animated GIFs right in Dropbox without popping out to an external app. That should be useful for... OK, it's not particularly useful for anything, except that one time that you need to instantly distinguish between the original and reverse of that one dog image when you attend a GIF party via your tablet.
