[APK Download] Google Calendar Adds Smart Event Suggestions And 54 New Country Holidays

Most of us rely on our Calendars to tell us where we need to be and what we need to do. Few calendars, however, take into account public and religious holidays, so we often end up scheduling meetings on these off days or putting deadlines right after them. Google Calendar has long been able to show public holidays from many countries around the world, but it's now adding 54 more for a total of 143. Lebanon, for example, is among the new additions. Yay! These holiday calendars can be enabled from Settings > Holidays and then choosing one or several countries to display.

YouTube App Adds 'Watch Later' Action To 'New Upload' Notifications

Google added the handy "bell" icon to the YouTube app's channel screens last summer to make signing up for "new upload" notifications quick and painless. But until now, users could only watch the video immediately, or take a shortcut to settings to disable the notification.

Recently though, it seems the YouTube app's upload notifications are gaining a new action - watch later. If you don't want to see the latest video from your favorite channel right this second, you can tap this new action to add it to your Watch Later list on YouTube. Here's a before-and-after shot of the notification:

Reddit's Official Android App Released To Private Beta Testers

In an announcement, Reddit's CEO said that they are launching an official Android beta, which for the time being is a closed beta. Of course, these kinds of things have their way of ending up in the public eye. The current development version, similar in appearance to the screenshot an administrator posted back in September, boasts the full spectrum of capabilities that Redditors currently have to go to third-party offerings to get.

Being pretty late to the party, this beta doesn't bring anything mind-blowing to the table, at least at the current stage of its development.

[Leak] Waze 4.0 Brings Complete UI Overhaul, Lots Of New Animations

Waze 4.0 is on the way to Android soon, and with it comes a complete overhaul of the entire app's interface. Everything, and I mean everything, has been touched by this update. The app is still clearly recognizable as Waze, but definitely a much slicker, more animated Waze. I wouldn't call it "material" by any means, but it's certainly a lot more modern than what Waze is shipping right now. Take a look at these two GIFs for examples of just what I mean - even the traffic flow animation is now snazzier. There's also this fun little loading bar any time you start a route that shows potential obstacles and traffic on your way.

AliExpress Revamps Homepage And Graduates To A Red Material Design

AliExpress may have a bad rep in some circles for the quality of the products that gets sold on it, but the reality is that it doesn't get enough credit for continuing to slowly improve its service and, most importantly, for not having most of its vendors tied to Paypal. In countries where Paypal isn't available, AliExpress is one of the best, if not the only, ways to buy stuff online.

Although AliExpress' Android developers haven't slacked in the past and the app didn't look dated, it's now getting a refresh with plenty of visual and functional improvements. Instead of the dark grey hue, AliExpress now dons a deep red color akin to its logo throughout the entire interface.
