Even if large swathes of people are able to get by just fine with 16 or 32GB of internal storage, I know there are more than a few reading this site who simply find that limitation unbearable. I understand. If my smartphone has all the power and functionality of a mini-computer, why can't it have the storage of one as well? For this reason, many people hold on tightly to devices with microSD card slots, and for them, there occasionally comes a deal like this one.

Touch of Modern's site is a place where only the cool gadgets are allowed to hang out, and to do so they have to offer some sort of a discount. In the corner of the room there are currently three Braven speakers all vying for attention, and they're discounted by up to half.

At the high end, we have the Braven 710. This speaker is discounted from $169.99 down to $99.99 - $20 lower than Amazon's going price.

Mad Catz isn't generally the first name you think of when pondering high-end Android accessories, but I was pretty impressed with its CTRLR Bluetooth gamepad. In fact, it's my current favorite Bluetooth controller for Android (though NVIDIA's SHIELD controller is better than anything else available today). While we're on a high note, we decided to check out the STRIKEM Bluetooth keyboard and FREQM Bluetooth gaming headset. Let's dig in.

The Escort SmartRadar is, unsurprisingly, a radar detector. What's perhaps more surprising is the Android app that comes with it. This piece of software lets users measure how fast they're going and receive warnings for upcoming speed traps. Someone out there may have a use for this, and said person may just like to know that the product is currently available for just $179.95 following a coupon code. This reduces the price down to $20 lower than what we saw it going for the last time around and $70 less than its current price on Amazon.

The Poweradd family-sized USB wall charger power adapter is capable of pumping juice into five devices at once. It's a compact way to get as much use out of a single power outlet as you can, and today it's available on Amazon for just $12.99 after a coupon code that shaves an additional $3 off its current $15.99 sale price. To get the discount, enter 5N4O4IUS at checkout.

Of the power adapter's five USB ports, two provide an output of 2.1A, one offers 1.3A, and the remaining two pump 1A each.

CD slot mounts are a great way to breathe life into what is, for many of us, a neglected part of our car. Depending on your vehicle's layout, these accessories stick smartphones where they're easy to see and very accessible, both for the driver and a passenger. Today two of Mountek's CD slot mounts are available as Gold Box deals. The nGroove Universal grip CD slot mount is going for $15.99, while the nGroove Snap 2 magnetic car mount goes for $18.99.

Wires are totally for dopes, right? You're not a dope, are you? Of course not, but a lot of Bluetooth earbuds are rather spendy. That's why the current deal on MEElec Air-Fi Metro2 is of note. These earbuds usually go for $100, but they're on sale through StackSocial for $59.99.

More droids everywhere! If you're itching to androidify your life, then this cute little speaker will definitely help the process and won't cost you a lot. At $15, it is 79% off its normal price on Amazon and $5 less than the previous deals we previously spotted on Best Buy and Newegg.

With two stereo speakers, a passive subwoofer, peak output of 8W, and an 850mAh lithium-ion battery, this bugdroid will play your tunes loud enough and for a respectable 6-hour duration.

Kickstarter projects appear in any number of shapes and sizes. FreeWavs smart earphones come in at the small end of things. These wireless buds aim specifically at the more active people among us who are tired of cables getting tangled and holding them back, their adrenaline-pumping heavy metal music drowning out the environment around them, and having to carry around so many gadgets to monitor their fitness levels. Now the project has narrowly managed to reach its $300k Kickstarter funding goal with just a day remaining, gathering pledges from over 1,400 people.

We've been wondering when conventional watchmakers would jump into the smartwatch game. Timex, a company that's no stranger to advanced wrist-mounted functionality, appears to be the first. They've adapted some of the technology first seen in the Qualcomm Toq developer device into the IronMan One GPS+. This watch combines the features of GPS watches that have been popular with runners and bikers for years with typical "smartwatch" functions like email alerts and an MP3 player.
