[Review] Zombies, Run! Is A Fantastic App, As Long As You Like Working Out More Than You Like Zombies

When we first took a look at Zombies, Run! a few days ago, I said that, while the concept is great, I hoped it would be $8 worth of amazing. Not to spoil the ending to this story right away, but the short version is: probably. This app could easily be worth $8 to many users. But not for the reasons you might think. And, before you start reaching for your wallet, you need to answer one very important question: are you willing to commit to a workout routine?

[New Game] Glu Mobile's Samurai vs Zombies Successfully Combines Undead, Highly Stylized Monsters With Sword-Slashing Action

Glu Mobile (makers of Bonsai Blast and a slew of other games) has treated Android users to another gem, combining powerful samurai, devilish zombies, and a stylized, adorable art style to make Samurai vs Zombies Defense.

Samurai vs Zombies is reminiscent of tower defense-style games, centering each level around defending a gate. Instead of simply setting up turrets and guns, however, SvZ allows players to go mobile, running toward packs of zombies and attacking them with typical sword swipes or special powerups.

[New Game] One Epic Game For Android Has Zombies, Guns, And Jetpacks, Lives Up To Its Name

When you name your game "One Epic Game", you have one of two options: either fill your game with high-powered hardware, gnarly baddies, and over-the-top villains, or not take it seriously and call it ironic. Game developer Grip Games chose to do both. One Epic Game is a side-scroller set in a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies that's aware of just how trite that premise is.

OEG has a very self-aware sense of humor that feels like it shouldn't be as funny as it is.
