[Deal Alert] Sony Xperia X is $214.99 at B&H and Amazon

The Xperia X is an upper-mid range (is that even a thing?) phone from Sony, which arrived in the United States about a year ago. It was pretty expensive for the specifications when it was released, priced at $549 in the US. But since then, it has continued to drop in price, and now you can get it for $214.99 from Amazon and B&H - the lowest price we've seen yet.

Sony Xperia XZ1 renders and photos leak, but since it looks like the XZ you can't tell

I still haven't wrapped my head around Sony's naming scheme, and already we have news on the next big phone from the manufacturer. A large number of renders and photographs of a dummy unit for the XZ1 leaked late yesterday. And, as the incremental name would suggest, the XZ1 looks almost identical to the XZ.

Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra arrives in the US for $399

Back in February, Sony announced a pair of "super mid-range" phones - the XA1 and XA1 Ultra. Both phones are powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 processor and have a nearly-identical design. The XA1 arrived in the United States in May, costing $299. Now the XA1 Ultra has arrived stateside for a hundred dollars more.

Sony's Xperia Touch interactive projector is now available in Europe for the princely sum of €1499.99

Like gadgets? Got an extra 1500 euros lying around? If you live in Europe, Sony has just the thing for you: the Xperia Touch. This fancy little projector was first announced at Mobile World Congress 2016 without a name or many details, but it took big steps towards becoming a legitimate product during this year's MWC. Sony Xperia Home beta is finally available through the Play Store

As early as October 2014, Sony began beta testing the Xperia Home app, a special launcher exclusive to the company's high-end smartphone devices. In what must be one of the longest beta tests in history, the app still hasn't seen a final version. Until now, it was only possible to get the app from Sony in the Google+ community or sideload it from somewhere like APKMirror. It's still in beta, but Sony is finally making it available to download through the Play Store.

[Deal Alert] Unlocked Sony Xperia XZs down to $620 at Amazon ($64 off)

It seems to be the night of back-to-back Sony phone deals. Just a few weeks ago we posted that the Xperia XZs (I will never understand Sony's naming scheme) was down to $658 over on Amazon. Now it's gotten down to $619.99, but just for the black model. The XZs is a mid-season refresh of last year's XZ, featuring an updated camera and a bit of extra RAM. Although the 1.22µm pixels in the new camera aren't the largest, it does have a high 19MP resolution and can shoot in 4K, as well as 960fps slow motion video.

[Deal Alert] Xperia X 32GB (F5121) $250 at Amazon and B&H

I've seen that there are two general camps when it comes to phones these days: those who want something big, and those who don't. For the latter, Sony has become a bit of a savior by continuing to make decent phones in a small form-factor. If you're part of that camp and you've been waiting for a deal on a recent Sony phone, that time has arrived. B&H and Amazon have the Xperia X for $250. That'll get you a nice 5" display and decent specs for a reasonable price.

Xperia XZ and X Performance are the first Sony devices to get Android 7.1.1

Sony has been pretty quick with Android updates recently, at least for its highest profile handsets. The Xperia XZ and X Performance were the first Sony phones to see an update to Android 7.0 Nougat, and that was just 3 months after Google's Pixel and Nexus devices received it. Now, Sony is building on this good work by bringing the Android 7.1.1 update to both its flagships.

Four of Sony's Xperia smartphones for 2017 appear in leaked image

Sony can't catch a break. Following the XZ Premium leak from just a few hours ago, a picture of four unannounced Sony smartphones has surfaced, courtesy of our old friend @evleaks. One of those is the aforementioned XZ Premium, but what are the other three?
