[Deal Alert] Pre-Order Sprint's HTC One For $150 From Wirefly

HTC's newest flagship is doing its best to turn heads with innovative features and funky buzzword-branding. If you've been sipping the Kool-Aid and simply must have this up-and-coming powerhouse, Wirefly's got a pretty solid deal if you are (or plan on being) a Sprint customer: you can pre-order either the silver or black variants for $150.

With that said, if you're switching carriers and plan on porting your number, then Sprint's pre-order offering is still a better deal at only $99. If you're already a customer of The Now Network, however, Wirefly's deal has Sprint's $200 upgrade price beat by a fifty spot.

Most of the time when we post a good deal – especially on a free phone – it's typically for new customers. In a rare event, though, Wirefly has turned that deal on its head by making the RAZR HD free for upgrades only. New customers will still have to shell out $50 for the same devices. It's a pretty good deal either way, but it's particularly killer for existing Verizon customers.

[Deal Alert] Wirefly Now Selling Sprint Optimus G Pre-Orders for $149, $50 Off Regular Price

For CDMA users, the GSM-exclusive Nexus 4 can be a bit of a bummer. However, if you're looking for the same high-powered specs without leaving the Now Network, you can get the Optimus G which David was actually pretty impressed by. Right now, Wirefly and Sprint are both accepting pre-orders for this device, though the former is offering it for about $50 cheaper than you would pay getting it straight from the carrier.

Of course, that's with a new two year contract or an upgrade on your existing line. Still, it's a nice little chunk of change to have knocked off.

Samsung's latest flagship – the Galaxy Note II – which we've so far only seen on video and in international markets, is finally (officially) headed to States-side carriers, with AT&T beginning pre-orders and Sprint and T-Mobile officially launching the device today.

In addition to official carrier launches (and the opening of pre-orders), though, Wirefly.com has opened up orders for the Galaxy Note II's T-Mobile variant, listing the flagship phablet at $279.99 for new or upgrading contracts. This beats T-Mobile's $369.99 price by a weighty $90.00, and it's worth noting that Wirefly is throwing in free shipping.

Right on schedule, Motorola's Droid RAZR HD (which has already been rooted thanks to Dan Rosenberg) and RAZR MAXX HD have arrived to market. Both devices are now live on Verizon's site along with Amazon Wireless.

As expected, the RAZR HD is available in either white or black for $199.99 on contract from Amazon or Verizon, while the RAZR MAXX HD goes for $299.99.

Wirefly Compares The Samsung Galaxy S III To The Apple iPhone 5 In The Newest Schmackdown

We've seen Wirefly Schmackdowns before, but we've never seen one like this. Under normal circumstances, we watch them compare two high-end Android phones. Today, however, they've put mortal enemies in the ring for a fight to the death: the GSIII and the iPhone 5. Oh snap.

[Update: It's Back] Verizon Offering $40 Bill Credit For New 4G Phones Activations From Amazon Wireless And Wirefly

Verizon, looking to sweeten the deal for anyone ready to grab a new 4G smartphone, has begun a promotion that offers customers a $40 bill credit when buying a new 4G LTE smartphone from either Amazon Wireless or Wirefly.com.

The promotion, which is open to new or upgrading customers, began at 12am today and will last until May 24th.

LetsTalk.com Acquired By Brightstar, Will Be Rebranded As 'Consensus'

Brightstar, a global wireless services company with a presence in more than 51 countries worldwide, has acquired LetsTalk.com for an undisclosed fee.

Since its founding in 1999, LetsTalk has served as an independent resource for wireless products and services, raising $21.5 million in funding. The San Francisco based company competes with Wirefly and Amazon, selling service plans from US carriers.

"Brightstar can now extend the wireless supply chain to the point of purchase and enable sales of connected products through an integrated omni-channel that includes online, in-store, mobile and social interfaces," said David Stritzinger. "Consensus is a great example of how Brightstar continues to respond to gaps in the wireless ecosystem with creative new solutions to enhance both the consumer experience and customer profitability."

As noted above, Brightstar plans to re-brand LetsTalk as 'Consensus', appointing David Stritzinger, the former Brightstar CTO, as president.

Wirefly And Let's Talk Launch Motorola Photon Q Pre-Order For $150 ($50 Off)

So you love QWERTYs. We get that. Apparently, so does Sprint and Motorola, because last month they announced the Photon Q, which is probably the most powerful QWERTY slider on the market right now.

Hopefully you haven't already pre-ordered through Sprint, because Wirefly and Let's Talk just dropped the pre-order price by $50. That means you can get this keyboard-packing LTE slider for $150 instead of $200. That's not a bad savings for a phone that hasn't even been released yet.

Of course, if you're considering jumping to Sprint from another carrier, you may want to take advantage of the current "add a line, get a $100 AMEX giftcard" deal going on exclusively through The Now Network, instead.
