EeePadTransformer

Looks like at least one company got the MeMO (pun intended) on tablet pricing - ASUS just announced that the Eee Pad Transformer will start at a mere $399. Now, that'll buy you a 16GB model; if you want to step the gigabyte count up to 32, you'll have to shell out an additional $100, raising the price to $499. Still, even when you take into account the fact that the $149 keyboard dock isn't included, that's not a bad deal at all - in fact, both prices shave a benjamin off what Apple will charge for an equivalent iPad 2.

The contest went on for about 3 weeks and the results exceeded my wildest expectations. Countless submissions later, many sleepless nights of doing final edits, emailing back and forth with the authors, and organizing the apparel store, I had narrowed down the submissions to...

The mobile industry is a very competitive, complicated, fast changing world. The name of the game, though, is simple: get your product out there, get people using it, and do it fast. Quantcast, a company that specializes in the world of internet usage trends, recently released some information showing how well the players in the mobile OS and software game are doing. The information is intriguing, to say the least.
