Notion Ink Adams Start Shipping - Tracking Numbers Received, NI Posts Unboxing Photos

Great news for those who have pre-ordered Notion Ink's first tablet, the Adam: they're starting to ship. Notion Ink has apparently just received their first large shipment, and posted their own unboxing and hands-on photos, while some pre-order customers now have tracking numbers in their hot little hands. Very exciting, no?

First up are the shipping details, courtesy of Adam fanblog AdamLogs. Looks like the person behind the blog has found that there's now a link to "Check Pre-Order Status" on the Notion Ink website. Once you do, you can find your details and a tracking link:

niorderstatus

And once you click on the tracking link:

They're also sending an email to those whose Adam is on its way explaining just that fact, and explaining how to track the order:

Dear Mr.

The Ninjas Are Back To Slice The Wraps Off The Nexus S [Awesome Video... Kind Of]

Remember the ninja's unboxing video created for the Nexus One launch by Patrick Boivin? Created using the stop-motion animation technique, the video painted a story of 3 of the greatest ninjas in the world who happened to find a box. In this box - a Nexus One in dire need of unwrapping. Long story short - if you haven't seen the video, here it is, in all its creative goodness:

Fast forward to yesterday's mysterious tweet by @googlenexus:

Take a wild guess who the friends are and then call 262-563-9875 (in the U.S.) ;-]

The ninjas are indeed back, this time with the Nexus S, and they're kicking it up a notch.

[Review] We Land A Google Chrome CR-48 Notebook, Do Stuff With It

Friday morning I received a surprise visit from UPS - and fortunately it wasn't the sort of surprise visit that requires me to then take a 20 lb. package over to my neighbor's place because the guy was too lazy to read the street number.

A somewhat hefty box, with a seemingly random sender name on it from Louisville, KY had been shipped overnight to my humble abode. I immediately knew it was a CR-48 laptop. Or a bomb. I signed up for the CR-48 Pilot Program moments after it was unveiled, but I certainly didn't expect to actually get a device - and definitely not so quickly.

Motorola Droid Pro Unboxing And Hands-On

So... what can I say? It's the Droid Pro, Android's answer to the Blackberry, the Blackberry running Android - in short, the phone that's supposed to kill off RIM once and for all. But is it? Our review unit just arrived in the mail today, and while I'm not ready to do a full review just yet, I am ready to give you my initial impressions as well as an overview of what's in the box. Ready? Read on!

The Unboxing

The box is standard fare for a Droid device - black, gray, and red, except for the Droid Pro name, which is inscribed in white.

Unboxing: Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini / Mini Pro

You didn’t think the unboxing goodness was over did you? Well just in case the Captivate and Intercept didn’t quite fill your appetite, here’s a two-in-one unboxing for you: Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro.

In November 2009, Sony Ericsson announced its entry into the Android arena by adding the X10 to its XPERIA line. Three short months later, SE decided to put the X10 under a shrink-ray to create the X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro. To say these Mini handsets are small is an understatement. The X10 Mini measures a scant 83mm tall and 50mm wide with its QWERTY packing brother being only slightly larger.

AT&T’s Samsung Captivate Unboxing And Initial Hands-On!

Our friendly neighborhood FedEx employee stopped by this morning with our Samsung Captivate, so I figured I’d do a quick unboxing video, snap some pictures, and give you guys our initial thoughts before our review in a couple days.

The box itself is fairly boring, sticking with a generic “You bought a cell phone on AT&T!” design rather than trying to shake things up a la the EVO 4G’s eco-friendly box design, or Apple’s sleek iPhone packaging. Still, though, it’s what’s inside that counts, right?

Sliding the top off reveals a ‘quick start’ guide under which lies the phone itself, and below that, the charger, USB cable, and an above average set of ear buds.

HTC EVO 4G Unboxing [Post Google I/O Coverage]

Wow, Google, I still can't believe after giving out a Droid, you surprised us, Google I/O attendees, with an EVO 4G as well, 2 weeks before it is released to the public.

I unboxed mine this morning and started playing with it right away. Enjoy these unboxing photos (as much as you can enjoy someone else uboxing something you want) as well as a video of EVO 4G playing a Youtube video of a Starcraft 2 match.

First impressions to follow are now live.
