LG G Watch R Starts Disappearing From The Google Store And Online Retailers, Is Effectively Discontinued

In with the new, out with the old. That seems to be LG's mantra when it comes to Android Wear watches. No sooner does the company announce and release a new model than it starts winding down production on the previous one, then completely stops it. That's the case of the G Watch R, or the GWAR as we lovingly referred to it here on Android Police.


The Google Store's listing for the G Watch R now shows this message: "This product is unavailable in your country," and its support page only currently lists it as sold in Australia whereas it used to mention Japan and the United States before.

16GB Nexus 7 Is Now Listed As "Coming Soon" On The Play Store, Likely Backordered Into The Next Century

The Nexus 7, everyone's newest favorite tablet, has already had more than its share of problems shipping from the Play Store. Today, the new shenanigans are that the 16GB model is currently unavailable from the Play Store at all. The best Google has to offer is a "coming soon" button that offers to let customers sign up to be informed when the device comes back in stock.


The 16GB model, so far, has been particularly hard to find from Google, and particularly easy in retail locations.

The Galaxy Nexus Is No Longer Available For Purchase From Google Play In The US

If you just felt a disturbance in the internet, as if millions of Android users cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced, here's why: the Galaxy Nexus is no longer available via the Google Play Store. This comes after Apple won an injunction against the sale of Google's flagship device last week. As of now, the device is not allowed to be sold in the US which includes, but is obviously not limited to, online sales from Google.
