Finding a decent ten inch tablet that won't break the bank can be an interesting process. There are so many options on the market, it's easy to get overwhelmed. If, however, you're in the market for something from the ASUS Transformer line, there's a pretty solid deal on eBay happening right now: the Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T is just $200. Keep in mind that we're talking about the Tegra 3 model here, by the way - not last year's TF701, which features the Tegra 4 chip.2014-05-08_13h16_40While this deal is specifically for the tablet (no dock is included), it's worth noting that the units being sold are new, as opposed to refurbished models that we often see with prices this low (it's $70 cheaper than what's going on Amazon right now). Plus, you can always add a dock later if laptop-like functionality is what you're ultimately after. It's hard to say how long this deal will last, but ones of this nature generally sell out relatively quickly. So if you don't mind a last-generation product, you should probably jump on it now.[ebay id="261408984699" text="ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700t"]

If you want a powerful, high-resolution tablet from a reputable manufacturer, you're going to have to pay for it. If you'd like to pay considerably less, you should check out the current Adorama listing for ASUS' flagship Transformer Pad. The Infinity TF701T is on sale for 9.99, a full $100 off of the retail price. It's also $50 below Amazon's price.

If you're looking for a tablet with world-beating specs, one of the highest-resolution screens available, and impressive expansion options, you'll want to look at Amazon today. The new ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity, with its NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor and 2560x1600 screen, is fifty bucks off the retail price. You can pick it up on Amazon for 9.95, with free two-day shipping if you're an Amazon Prime subscriber. It's unclear if this is a sale or a new regular price.

Amazon subsidiary Woot.com has taken the wraps off another one of its big tablet sales. This promotion isn't like their normal "one deal a day" operations - the prices will be good until November 1st at 9AM Central, though the individual listings are still limited by stock. The good deals are on refurbished Samsung and Asus hardware, though some of the dirt-cheap tablets you might see in the discount aisle are also there.

Good grief, but the people who run eBay's Daily Deals portal really love their Android tablets. After discounts on Nexuses for the last couple of weeks, today we get one of ASUS' flagship tablets at a significant discount. A refurbished Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T (the Tegra 3 model from 2012) is [ebay id=200955190145 text="going for just $289.99"] with free shipping. That's $210 off the current retail price.

Looking for a high-res tablet, and don't mind getting a model that's a bit long in the tooth? Then you'll want to check out Tiger Direct's listing for the 32GB Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700. This 1920x1200 10" tablet is a pretty great deal at $279.99, assuming you're OK with a somewhat outdated Tegra 3 processor, a refurbished model, and a $50 mail-in rebate. Jeez, but I wish those things would die - the rebates, not the Tegra 3.

Watch out, Transformer fans, ASUS is about to give you something pretty great to drool over. As part of its Computex 2013 announcement, the OEM gave away details of the shiny new replacement to the once reigning king of Android tablets, the Transformer Pad Infinity.

At the beginning of March, ASUS became the first company to push Android 4.2 to a non-Nexus device when the update came to the TF300. At the time, the company promised 4.2 for the TF700 and MeMO Pad Smart sometime "in the second quarter." We're now three days into Q2, and ASUS has started pushing the update to the TF700 (Infinity). Talk about delivering on promises.

It's that time again, Transformer Pad Infinity owners! The latest incremental update to Android 4.1 is out and ready to flash for US, Japan, China, and Taiwan models, and the international version to boot. You can check your Settings menu for the over-the-air download, or head over to the ASUS download page if you're not seeing it immediately.

Time for day two of our NVIDIA Tegra holiday giveaways! We'll be holding 2 more Tegra-themed giveaways in addition to this one over the next couple days - so be sure to come back every day through Sunday to check out the latest one. Today's giveaway is - you guessed it - more tablets! We're offering up the ASUS Transform Pad Infinity (TF700) and Transformer Pad 300 (TF300T), both bundled with their respective keyboard docks - both of which pack Tegra 3 quad-core power.

If you're looking for a tablet that can also function as a laptop, it's hard to beat ASUS' Transformer series. And out of the current lineup, the reigning champ is definitely the Infinity. Its 1900x1200 display is one of the best you can get in an Android tablet, and the 1.7GHz quad-core Tegra 3 keeps things running smoothly. Plus, when coupled with the keyboard dock, the battery life is pretty phenomenal. The thing is - even at Amazon's price of $630 - it's a little on the steep side, given the current competition.

If you own ASUS' first full HD tablet - the Transformer Pad Infinity - the custom ROM scene just got quite a bit better for you. Why, you ask? Because the TF700T is now officially support by CyanogenMod, and the first CM10 nightly is already available.

A small update is making is way to the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity (TF700), bringing a slew of minor bug fixes along with it. We actually got our hands on a changelog this time (a rarity for ASUS):

Last week, ASUS promised Jelly Bean to TF201 and TF700 owners, and while the former got its update right on time, there was an issue that prevented the update from being pushed to the latter. As a result, ASUS said the update would be available "early next week." Here we are, about as early as it can possibly get in the new week, and the OTA has already begun rolling out.

Just yesterday, ASUS promised both TF201 and TF700 owners their Jelly Bean updates on September 28th and 29th, respectively. While they owned up to that for the Prime, the Infinity isn't so lucky: they just had to push the update back.

When ASUS announced the Jelly Bean update for the Transformer Prime in Sweden yesterday, there were two questions that immediately popped up: what about the rest of the world? and when will the Infinity get updated?

A small update is now available for the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity that is very similar to the one we saw hit the Transformer Pad 300 way back in May. While most of the enhancements appear to be under the hood, this build brings Face Unlock, as well as improved camera firmware, a bump in GPS software, and a few others.

We're already expecting to see a good number of new devices, like the Galaxy Note 2, announced at next week's IFA Conference in Berlin. It looks like Vodafone has an unveiling of its own, as well; the company just announced that an LTE-packing version of the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity will be outed.

ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity Getting OTA Update To Build 9.4.5.26, Brings Stability Fixes, Support For 64GB+ SD Cards, And More

If you're lucky enough to have already received your TF700, there's an update slowly rolling out that brings a handful of enhancements to the device.

If you're lucky enough to have already received your TF700, there's an update slowly rolling out that brings a handful of enhancements to the device. Like with most other ASUS OTAs, a changelog isn't available, but users are reporting increased touch sensitivity, support for 64GB and larger SD cards, an updated camera app, better I/O performance, and other stability improvements.

The original Transformer was one of the first tablets to capture the imagination of the Android community, and three iterations later the family continues to be popular among modders and ROM enthusiasts. The latest and inarguably greatest member of ASUS' tablet family, the Transformer Pad Infinity, now has infinitely more options when it comes to aftermarket ROMs and modifications. The company released the TF700 version of their bootloader unlock tool, and interested users can download it from the ASUS support website. The release comes almost exactly two months after the cheaper Transformer Pad 300 got the same treatment.
