The Moto Z2 Force performs well in JerryRigEverything's durability test

Lenovo's latest Moto flagship has been through the mill a bit recently. The problems with the Z2 Force's shatterproof but easily scratchable plastic-covered screen have been well documented, and the smaller battery is one of a number of other disappointments when compared to its predecessor. Its price was seemingly slashed by $80 before it was even released (although Moto denies this), and David has even concluded that the Z line and its mods add up to little more than a thinly veiled money grabbing exercise. Moto could use some good news then, and luckily YouTube phone torturer Zack Nelson (JerryRigEverything) was left impressed with the Z2 Force.

JerryRigEverything puts the Huawei Mate 9 through its paces, offers a thumbs up

JerryRigEverything is back with another one of his signature snuff films phone abuse videos. This time he's taking his graded MOH picks to the Mate 9, Huawei's latest premium offering. The big, bold device has been generally well-received thanks to typically solid hardware and much-improved software; shipping with Nougat was a nice touch. The JerryRigEverything YouTube channel doesn't really care about that - it's all about how much physical abuse the phone can take.

What Hath Science Wrought: Behold Samsung's Phone-Crushing Automatic Ass-Bot

It seems to be a growing trend among manufacturers to show off the process behind creating their products. Today, Samsung joined the ranks, bringing us an inside look of the stress test process that the company's moneymaker undergoes. To ensure that every Galaxy S III can stand up to all the punishment you can throw at it, there are a number of machines that attempt to scratch, crack, or soak the handset to see how well it can hold up. Oh, yeah, and there's an automated ass that sits on the phone over and over again.

If you've ever seen a stress test video, there won't be much here that's entirely shocking, though this clip is in Korean.
