Inbox v1.41 prepares to intelligently choose snippets from emails and allow sorting [APK Teardown]

The Gmail team put artificial intelligence to task with Inbox. Its usefulness as an email client is punctuated by how effective it is at organizing and determining the importance of incoming mail. Of course, there's always room to add more clever features, whether they are designed to cut down cognitive load or just save a couple taps. A teardown of the latest Inbox update reveals two more features are coming soon to do exactly that. Google Photos v1.24 added an improved cropping tool and sorting for albums [APK Download]

An update to Google Photos hit late yesterday, taking the version up to 1.24. This update doesn't make any major changes, but there are a couple of notable improvements. The cropping tool has been redesigned and upgraded in a few good ways and albums can now be sorted. Casually browsing YouTube on a mobile device is a pretty good experience, or at least it's about as good as anything we've seen on a phone or tablet so far. Web Android Market Finally Allows Sorting Of User Reviews By Newest, Rating, Or Helpfulness

Bringing probably one of the most useful changes to the web Android Market since its reveal, Google just rolled out an update to how user reviews can be sorted. But first, a little bit of history. When the Market was released, all reviews were sorted in a natural reverse chronological order.

At some point later, Google changed the sort to float most helpful reviews to the top (whatever that algorithm may be), which infuriated many as now old and oftentimes irrelevant reviews showed up above newer, more useful ones.

Today, we, the users, can finally sort reviews any way we see fit:

  • newest
  • rating
  • helpfulness
