Find A Crew, Find A Job, And Keep Flying In Space Trade-Em-Up Cosmonautica, Now Out Of Early Access

When you stare into the infinite void of space, salted with stars so vast and distant that they defy the human mind to imagine them, you can't help but wonder at the scope and majesty of the universe. Then you start to wonder how to make some money out of it.

Cosmonautica is the latest in a long line of space trading sims, the stellar ancestors of the old "pirate math" games from the 80s. And yes, buying and selling goods across star systems serves as the core of the game, with profits enabling you to upgrade and arm your ship, hire new crew, and expand your business.

This War Of Mine Game Preview: A Dreadful, Soul-Crushing Experience... In A Good Way

This War of Mine is not a fun game. But it isn't trying to be. While other "realistic" war games will hand you a rifle and tell you to take that beach, Private, in This War of Mine a few scraps of meat is a much more important tool for survival. You control three survivors living in a bombed-out house in the middle of an extremely non-specific war zone, trying to scrape together enough materials to craft their way through the war without starving or freezing.

Needless to say, this is not the kind of game that will appeal to those who like to spend their virtual time jumping through colorful Miyamoto landscapes, this is more like a playable version of your great grandpa's stories about what they had to do to get through the war in the old country.

World Of Tanks Blitz Brings The Popular PC MOBA To The Play Store With Android-iOS Cross-Platform Battles

Fans of online PC action games will be aware of World of Tanks, a popular free-to-play tank simulator that's frequently updated with added content. iOS has had access to a simplified version for over a year, which would normally cause some ire among Android gamers. But I'm prepared to give developer Wargaming a pass on this one, since World of Tanks Blitz is launching with cross-platform play between Android and iOS, ensuring a healthy population of online players right from the start.

World of Tanks is a soft sim: while it does include authentic tank models and battlefields inspired by WWII locations, the third-person perspective and forgiving controls put the focus squarely on the combat.

Square Enix Releases Champ Man 15, The Frowniest Soccer Management Game Ever, On The Play Store

Pardon me, readers. This is usually where I make a distinction to point out the fact that most of the world calls its favorite sport football. (We do that in America too, but it's a different football, and we call everyone else's football "soccer.") That isn't important. What is important is that Square Enix thinks that the image below is the best way to advertise its new game, Champ Man 15.

Look at this man. According to Google Image Search, he's Arsène Wenger, the manager of London's Arsenal Football Club. According to his face, Arsène's doctor just told him that there was no choice but to amputate the arm he burned unsuccessfully attempting to save his dog and her litter of puppies from the fire in his 100-year-old family home.

In Bio Inc. - Biomedical Plague, Disease Is Your Weapon And Patients Are The Enemy

After 20 minutes of playing Bio Inc., I feel like a horrible, horrible person. Poor John Smith was already overweight, a chronic fast food eater, and a compulsive smoker, and I went out of my way to target his respiratory system. I gave him lung cancer. I gave him bronchitis. And when his doctors realized something was wrong, I went after his ticker and gave him angina, then a full-on heart attack. But that's kind of the point of Bio Inc.: you are everything medically wrong with the world, and it's you're job to kill the patient by any means necessary.

[New Game] Topia World Builder From Crescent Moon Games Lets You Become The Deity You Were Always Meant To Be

Lo, and then the lord did tap the touchscreen interface and cause great mountains to rise up from the landscape. Then with a swipe and a tap, the lord did create all the creatures of the land. Following all that, the lord made the sky purple, just because, for this god is a confusing and temperamental god. This and so much more is what awaits you in Topia World Builder, which has just hit Android after a good long run on iOS.

[New Game] Adult Swim's Amateur Surgeon 3 Is A Perfect Example Of 'Don't Try This At Home'

At least once or twice a year you hear about some desperate and/or stupid person who decided to be their own doctor, suturing their wounds with staples or fishing wire in lieu of an emergency room visit. If that sounds like fun, then Amateur Surgeon 3 from the quirky folks at Adult Swim is right up your artery. This is an Android release of a Flash and iOS game, not to mention a gruesome and sarcastic take on the old 'Operation' idea.

In the second sequel to the original Flash game, you play Ophelia Payne, a rookie surgeon who has access to some unconventional medical tools.

[New Game] Stop What You're Doing: Farming Simulator 2014 Is Now Available In The Play Store

It's finally here, folks: the most-anticipated agrarian simulation game of the year is now available on the Google Play Store. If you wile away the lonely Kansas nights with the latest Tractor Supply Company catalogs, if you've ever found yourself checking out a ball hitch on eBay, if the words "crop rotation" get you hot and bothered, then this is your game.

"Tired of farming alone?" asks the Farming Simulator 2014 trailer, as if it didn't already know. Yes indeed, FS now includes a multiplayer mode, for the couple that doesn't mess around when it comes to sewing seeds. Unfortunately it's local only (WiFi or Bluetooth), so you California grape tycoons can't get it on with your Nebraska corn-huskin' honeys, but you can play all you want with like-minded folk in about a 30-foot radius.
