From driving tractors to destroying the world, there's a large variety of simulator games on Android. They're the perfect escape, allowing you to explore realistic scenarios from your phone. However, there are plenty of fictional experiences, like Stardew Valley or Plague Inc.

Starfield might be the talk of Bethesda town, but the company hasn't forgotten about its Elder Scrolls fans. No, it's not the long-awaited Elder Scrolls 6 but a mobile game that's essentially Fallout Shelter with an Elder Scrolls theme. The Elder Scrolls: Castles arrived unannounced on the Play Store in early access, but the catch is that all EA slots are currently filled.

Shelter An Animal Adventure Android release

Have you ever wondered what life would be like if you were a badger raising her young in the wild? Wonder no more, as the excellent survival simulation game Shelter has made its way to Android in celebration of the game's 10th anniversary. It will be your job to protect your young cete from birds of prey and other predators, all while traversing dangerous terrain. More or less, you have a badger-filled sandbox to play in that offers a unique experience each playthrough, accompanied by adorable low-poly graphics that add plenty of charm to what is ultimately a stylish and enjoyable survival sim.

As an immigration inspector, you'll get to choose if you're loyal to the state or willing to use your position of power for your own means

Papers, Please started as a PC release in 2013, coming from Lucas Pope, the same indie dev behind Return of the Obra Dinn. Eventually, the dystopian puzzle game found its way to the iPad and PlayStation Vita, but a smartphone version was always missing from the lineup. Thankfully the developer recently revealed he would be bringing the game to Android and iOS on August 5th, which is today, so just as promised, Papers, Please is finally available on the Google Play Store.

Last month Total War: Medieval II entered into pre-registration on the Play Store in preparation for its release on April 7th. Seeing that today is April 7th, as promised, Feral Interactive has indeed launched Total War: Medieval II on Android and iOS, bringing its highly-rated strategy gameplay to mobile. Since this is the latest port from Feral, much like previous releases, Total War: Medieval II is a premium port, and starting today, you can snag a copy for $15.

Nintendo’s cutesy and addictive social sim doesn’t fail to make an impression on our Android devices. Released back in late November 2017, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is still going strong with updates, and many consider it one of the best Android games around. Like most free-to-play mobile games, there’s monetization, and it’s not shy about promoting its subscription service in-game either.

FarmVille 3 hero

Zynga has just announced that FarmVille will soon see a new release on mobile. This title is known as FarmVille 3, and just like the last two titles, it's a casual free-to-play farming sim. Tons of new characters are expected, along with new animals and an active weather system. Pre-registration starts today, with the release date set for November 4th, which is less than a month away.

The Football Manager series sees yearly releases, and so it's that time of year again, which means Football Manager 2021 Mobile is now available on Android. Typically this annual release comes with a separate Touch version in tow for those that prefer to play on tablets, but it looks like the Touch version has been pushed back to December 1st. Still, if you don't require a tablet interface for your Football Manager needs, you can grab the standard version of Football Manager 2021 Mobile from the Play Store starting today.

Off-roading simulation game MudRunner is now available on Android for $7

Who's ready to go mudding in aging Soviet-era trucks?

Out of nowhere, Saber Interactive's off-roading simulation game MudRunner has popped up on the Play Store. If you're unfamiliar with the game, it's a sequel of sorts to Spintires, a quirky proof of concept where you drive Soviet-era trucks through heaps of realistic mud. MudRunner offers similar physics-based off-roading gameplay, but it's wrapped up in a much more polished package, and you can pre-register right now for the official Android release planned for July 15th.

Last year I covered the releases of Sega's Football Manager Mobile and Touch management games, and it would appear that it's that time of year again since Football Manager 2020 Mobile and Football Manager 2020 Touch have been officially arrived on the Google Play Store. These yearly tandem releases offer similar yet separate gameplay mechanics. The Mobile title exists as a tweaked mobile version themed after the PC and console experience, and the Touch version is a slimmed-down affair that's a little more suitable for play on tablets and quick sessions. Both of these titles require an upfront payment, much like a premium release, though in-app purchases are still included.

SimpleRockets 2 recently arrived on the Play Store as a pre-registration listing. It comes from Jundroo, the same developer behind the successful simulation games SimpleRockets and SimplePlanes. Currently, SimpleRockets 2 is available on Steam as an early-access release, but the recent pre-reg listing on the Play Store should mean that we can expect the rocket space sim to land on Android sometime soon.

Back in December of 2018 we received Weappy Studio's indie simulation adventure game This Is the Police on Android, and today the sequel has popped up on the Play Store for pre-registration. An official announcement released today states that the game is coming to both Android and iOS sometime soon, and if you'd like to pre-register for the Android release, you can do so on the new Play Store listing.

Last month we learned that the construction management sim Tropico was finally coming to Android, and today I'm here to let everyone know that the title is officially available on the Google Play Store. Despite its name, this is actually a mobile port of Tropico 3 that has been available on iOS since 2018, and today Android users can finally get in on the fun, all thanks to Feral Interactive.

Construction Simulator 3 is the latest construction simulation game from Astragon Entertainment. It's a followup to the developer's US-based Construction Simulator 2, but this time around you'll have to prove your building skills by fulfilling contracts on the opposite side of the Atlantic. You'll get to play through three new European locations as you test out and utilize a multitude of name-brand construction equipment.

This Is the Police is an indie simulation adventure game that has been ported to Android, and it's available on the Play Store as of this morning. You get to fill the role of a police chief who is in charge of a police department that's located in a city spiraling out of control. Will you choose the path of least resistance, lining your pockets with cash, or will you stand up for what's right, even if it's to the detriment of your career?

Sega's Football Manager 2019 Mobile and Football Manager 2019 Touch have both landed on the Google Play Store. These management sims bring along plenty of new enhancements, but of course, you can still expect to find everyone's favorite soccer management simulation gameplay.

If you haven't yet heard about Pocket City, boy are you in for a treat. It's a premium single purchase simulation city-builder from Codebrew Games - a one-person indie studio from Toronto, Canada. The game puts you in the shoes of a new city mayor, and it's your job to strategically erect residential, commercial, and industrial zones, all while completing quests to gain XP and level up. If you are a fan of the classic SimCity PC games and are tired of all the nickel and diming free-to-play antics of the mobile gaming industry, you are going to want to give Pocket City a proper look as soon as possible.

Yep, you read the title correctly. Motorsport Manager Mobile 3 is live on the Play Store right now. This release is obviously the third entry in the Motorsport Manager simulation series, and after the second entry improved on so much from the first, this new title may very well have its work cut out for it. Luckily a boat load of improvements and new features are included, but of course, only time will tell if Motorsport Manager Mobile 3 can live up to its predecessors.
