Earlier this year, UPS Mobile received a big bump in functionality, which was a nice change for an Android app that really didn't have to do all that much. The app puts tracking information front and center, as it should. Why else does anyone even check UPS online?
Now the app has received a 4.1 update that lets users track packages without having to manually juggle all of those tracking numbers. This is a feature exclusively available to My Choice members, which is free depending on what perks are desired. Customers can see the benefits of signing up all within the app. Read More
OK, Pressy faithful. Your patient waiting, or just possibly your impatient waiting and incessant grumbling (guilty), has finally paid off. An Android app for Google Shopping Express has landed in the Play Store, and while it's available for anyone to download, it still only works in the San Francisco Bay area. I know, that blows, but if you live in the region and take part in Google's trial same-day shopping program, this new app gives you a quicker means to make purchases when your computer isn't within reach. Google has also extended access out to San Jose, so if you're a newly eligible resident who hasn't already signed up for the service, now may be a good time to do so. Read More
If you've ordered the 2013 Nexus 7 model from Best Buy, check your email - at least one Android Police staff member has received confirmation that the new tablet is ready for in-store pickup. Both 16GB and 32GB models are apparently being sold freely at at least some brick-and-mortar locations, at the standard $229 and $269 prices. Read More
