Where's my water? I've been looking all over, and I'm still having a hard time finding it. I've enlisted the help of that green alligator guy, but we didn't get anywhere. I even went to Mickey Mouse, but he kept asking me for money. Now it's time to search in China with the help of the popular animated sheep Xi Yang Yang.
Welcome to the latest entry in our Bonus Round series, wherein we tell you all about the new Android games of the day that we couldn't get to during our regular news rounds. Consider this a quick update for the dedicated gamers who can't wait for our bi-weekly roundups, and don't want to wade through a whole day's worth of news just to get their pixelated fix. Today we've got an official Candy Crush clone, a shapely puzzle game, and a game that lets you hone your sheep abduction skills.
Minecraft Pocket Edition has had a hell of a developmentcycle. Each new point release brings a ton of new awesome stuff, though. Today, the app reaches version 0.7 and users get a whole bunch of awesome new features. Like fire. Fire is cool. Spawn eggs have also been added. You can use these items to create sheep, pigs, cows, or chickens.
The new version also includes an in-game chat function (finally!) and initial support for Minecraft Realms.

Typically, we try to narrow down our list of the top new apps and games to five entries each month. This month, however, saw the debut of plenty of new games that are definitely worth taking a look at, and have included seven of the very best games no Android gamer should miss.
Yesterday, Samsung started promoting a cryptic site, tgeltaayehxnx.com, which sported nothing but a countdown due to run out about half an hour ago, at 4am Pacific time. The most observant souls quickly figured out that the domain is an anagram for thenextgalaxy.com, a site registered by the same advertising agency (The Upper Storey) and, to our disappointment, password protected.
Minecraft is the world's most popular online multiplayer not-quite-Lego creativity tool/game with 8-bit graphics and zombies. It's also an Android game. Until recently, though, Minecraft Pocket Edition was limited to creativity mode, only a few materials, and players lacked the ability to fly. Today, that all changes. Minecraft Pocket Edition just got a whole lot more like Minecraft Normal Edition with the addition of Survival Mode, plus a ton of other new features.
