Overam Circles Around Your Photos, Blurs The Lines Of Editing, And Lands Square In The Play Store

Here's a surprise for you. For once we're not talking about a photo editing app that has come to Android after being available on iOS for months or worse yet, years. How novel! Overam is the name of said app and it's being released on Android first (maybe only?).

While Overam does offer the usual panoply of filters, its selling point is the usage of geometric shapes to create a disconnect between two parts of the image and highlight the one you want.

Autodesk Brings FormIt App To Android For Capturing Building Concepts 'Anywhere Ideas Strike'

It's no secret that I enjoy Autodesk mobile apps. From Pixlr Express to Sketchbook to AutoCAD 360, it's hard to find an instance when the company has produced a sub-par piece of mobile software.

Continuing that trend, Autodesk released FormIt to the Play Store today, two months after teasing the app's progress on its blog. The former iOS exclusive is meant to help users quickly create and manipulate building forms based on quick ideas or inspiration while on the go.

Quickoffice Updates Its Android Apps, Adds Spellcheck, Line Spacing, Chart And Table Support, And More

Just when you thought Quickoffice was becoming out of touch with its user base (specifically, with their wallets) the company has released a fairly major update to its two main Android apps.

Specifically, both Quickoffice Pro and Quickoffice Pro HD were today updated to version 5.5.32. The update brings more than a number bump, though; here's the official list of new features:

  • Add/edit/remove comments
  • Select text and highlight
  • Insert shapes


  • Spellcheck
  • Display charts in .docx
  • Edit line spacing
  • Create and edit tables


  • Insert numbered lists
  • Display groups of items
  • Duplicate slides in PPTX
  • Insert and rotate extended set of shapes


  • Move, resize and delete charts in spreadsheets
  • Update charts when referenced data is changed in spreadsheets

Though the press release, interestingly enough, is not to be released until next Monday, the updated apps are available now.
