Andru is probably the most adorable power adapter in the universe. The bugdroid-inspired plug has movable arms, flexible antennae, and light-up eyes (blue means charging, white is for standby), making it a perfect desk charger and about 100 times more dynamic than the average power brick.

The 2.5" adapter has 5V/1A DC output, and normally costs $25 each for an Andru, Andru Dark, Andru Chill, or Andra (pink) unit. In preparation for holiday shopping (or just for fun, who knows?) PowerbyGen is offering all four variants together for just $65, about $35 off the normal price of a full set.

Now that we've seen new videos for the Moto 360, Moto Hint, and the new Moto X and G, there's one more promo video to watch - this one, revolving around the "Choose Choice" tagline, gives some behind-the-scenes looks at the "choices" that went into the other videos, including some of the construction work that went into the crazy set used in the other four videos. Like the other videos, it's around a minute long, so it's worth checking out while we wait for more updates to Motorola's website.

A single SMS message is generally limited to 160 characters, which gives it the potential to be a very concise means of communication. If, however, you feel that the point of your message will be hard to convey in such small snippets, Hangouts has a feature for you.

Hangouts allows users to specify a subject for SMS messages. Simply hold the send button for a moment, and a subject box will appear as shown below.

It's hard not to be excited about the future of Google Now. It's already an incredibly powerful tool, on its way to being a do-anything personal assistant, and we've heard tell of even more functionality from bill pay reminders to inferred events entries to contact-based reminders.

Today, though, we've heard about something that many have asked for from Google Now for a long time now - actual timer functionality. Search may not be getting its own built-in timer, but it won't be side-stepping your request to set an alarm, either.

Announced at CES this year, the ASUS Cube has managed to get a decent amount of attention for a Google TV Box. Formerly known as the Qube, this angular, textured device came to market toward the end of last month, and I've been living with it ever since, trying to get a feel for the product and decide whether ASUS has something special on their hands.

In reviewing the Cube I wanted to answer two main questions that I think underlie every GTV device: Is the user experience a good one, and does the product successfully make Google TV something I actually want to use on a daily basis?

You thought 1.2GHz was fast? That was just the beginning. The developer of the extremely popular SetCPU app has managed to get a 50% clock speed increase out of the XOOM's dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2, bumping it up to a screaming 1.5GHz. Now, this is sort of like attaching a very large turbo to your four-cylinder hot hatch - that is, your device life may be shortened a little if you're constantly pushing it to the limits.
