You know that spiffy hamburger icon animation in the Play Store? Wave goodbye—the new version of the Play Store is hitting devices and it switches to the full height drawer. There's less divisive stuff going on too, like shadows. Who doesn't like shadows?
Update 10/17/14: Play Store 5.0.32, a small bump over 5.0.31, is now available for download.
Update 10/31/14: Play Store 5.0.37, a bump over 5.0.32, is now available for download. It comes with at least one new change - a new permission bucket called Wearable sensors/activity data to help explain permissions for apps that can grab data from wearables, such as heart rate monitors.

Following yesterday's unveiling of Android 4.4 and the Nexus 5, we've been enjoying a nonstop barrage of APKs which got here before any of us even got a chance to receive our own Nexus 5s in the mail thanks to the Nexus 5 factory image.
One of the updated APKs inside the image, as it turns out, is a slightly updated Play Store with version 4.4.22. The latest Play Store before that - the one that brought us the slide-out navigation panel - was 4.4.21. Read More
