In the Android Police Galaxy Note 8.0 review, we mentioned that it would be a lot better with an adjusted price. The Samsung tablet has already seen some pretty significant discounts, and today eBay has the WiFi version for $345. That's $55 bucks off the US retail price, plus free shipping and zero taxes, at least if you live somewhere that isn't New York or New Jersey. This isn't one of eBay's Daily Deals - presumably the sale will end when stock runs out.

Samsung's third iteration of the Galaxy Tab series of tablets isn't exactly mind-blowing, with each entry rocking specs that rival that of the aging Nexus 7. While we're mildly offended that Samsung would stick a 1280x800 resolution on a 10.1-inch screen, that doesn't mean we're going to stop you from buying one if your heart so desires. The 7-inch, 8-inch, and 10.1-inch versions of Sammy's largely identical slates have all popped up for pre-order online and at several big box retailers.

A new device has just popped up on Samsung's open source site with the enticing model number GT-i9505G. For those not keeping track, the Snapdragon-packing Galaxy S4 is the GT-i9505. Samsung may have just dropped the kernel source for the Google Edition GS4 before the device is even out.

The same model number is also appearing in the Bluetooth registry, and there is a new WiFi Alliance certification for it. The hardware listing does look identical to the standard Galaxy S4, but that doesn't necessarily prove anything.

Who's excited about Samsung's latest revisions to its Galaxy Tab line? Don't everyone rush all at once. With the rise of the 10.1-inch and 8-inch Notes, the Tab series has been pushed further and further towards the budget end of the spectrum, in features if not in actual price. But if you really do want one of Samsung's three new Tabs, they'll be headed to online and retail stores in the United States on July 7th.

Brown doesn't get enough credit as a hard-working member of the color spectrum. Despite representing such wonderful stuff as chocolate, wood grain, and varying degrees of melanin pigmentation, it's somehow thought of as boring. Brown keeps its head down and does its job all day long, while that swanky overachiever White and do-nothing Black get the top spots on modern gadgets. Brown's one time to shine was the Zune, and even then it was destined to fail, by virtue of not being an iPod.

Dual OS devices featuring Windows 8 and Android are nothing new (if anything, they're becoming more and more common), and Samsung decided it was time to throw its name into the we can do two things at once arena with the just-announce Ativ Q. At its core, the Ativ Q is a 13.3-inch laptop/tablet hybrid, but the real allure here is its insane 275PPI display that runs at a massive 3200x1800 resolution.

At today's Samsung Premiere 2013 event in London, the Korean smartphone giant announced that it will begin selling the Galaxy S4 in five additional colors. These new models won't be different internally from what's currently available, just more eye-catching. It remains to be seen if this colorful strategy will give a boost to the Galaxy S4's sales numbers, not that it needs all that much help. The Galaxy S4 is still outselling all other Android smartphones by a wide margin, even if it isn't doing so quite as spectacularly as investors would want.

Samsung is busy showing off its three Galaxy S4 variants and incredibly ugly glasses onstage in London, but one of the biggest announcements of the day was almost glossed over in the introduction of the premiere event: the much-rumored Galaxy NX. This Android-powered version of Samsung's dSLR and Micro 4/3 camera competitor is aiming to bring Android integration to the higher end of the consumer camera market. While Samsung is still talking it up at the event, at least one random YouTube user has managed to do a full video review of the device.

Verizon pushed out an update at the end of May to add a number of enhancements to the Galaxy S III. However, after users flooded the Verizon forums with reports of broken LTE, Big Red pulled the update. A slightly tweaked version is about to roll out with a few more features, and presumably no LTE issues.

The update listing doesn't make mention of the data fix, but that's understandable. It should be noted that this update's changelog is a bit different than the last one.

A nice treat for Galaxy S III owners on US Cellular is dropping today. An update to version R530UVXAMD4 is going out via OTA soon, but you don't have to wait. US Cellular says you can pull the update manually from the Software Update menu. The full update can also (at some point) be downloaded from Samsung and flashed to the device over USB. US Cellular's link currently points toward to the last update.
