So you love QWERTYs. We get that. Apparently, so does Sprint and Motorola, because last month they announced the Photon Q, which is probably the most powerful QWERTY slider on the market right now.

Hopefully you haven't already pre-ordered through Sprint, because Wirefly and Let's Talk just dropped the pre-order price by $50. That means you can get this keyboard-packing LTE slider for $150 instead of $200. That's not a bad savings for a phone that hasn't even been released yet.

Of course, if you're considering jumping to Sprint from another carrier, you may want to take advantage of the current "add a line, get a $100 AMEX giftcard" deal going on exclusively through The Now Network, instead.

EA's Real Racing 2, a game that we covered at launch back in December, is the self-proclaimed "most hotly anticipated racing game ever made for Android." It is also on sale (for a limited time) for just $0.99, 80% off its normal $4.99 price tag. The sale comes in celebration of the announcement of Real Racing 3, the next entry in EA's extremely well-crafted racing series.

The game, for those who aren't familiar, brings intense racing action to your Android device with over 40 miles of track in 15 different, equally immersive locations. The game has an interesting control scheme, allowing players to rely on touch or tilt controls to steer, and offering several customizations to "tailor to your personal driving style."

Real Racing 2 offers players the chance to work their way up - from rookie to pro - in Career mode, or simply enjoy a one-off Quick Race with "highly skilled" AI drivers.

wordlens

Word Lens, the sometimes jittery but generally impressive visual language translator, is getting in the Olympic spirit. For a limited time, the language packs—which are acquired via in-app purchases to unlock full translation support—are being offered for $2.99 per pack, which is $2 off the normal price of $4.99. Huzzah!

It comes at a particularly poignant time. As the Olympic games get underway and the world remembers there's more that the nations of earth do together than wage war and make gadgets, Word Lens can be helpful in breaking down the language barrier and acting as a catalyst for that type of international camaraderie.

Rumors have been floating around today that the HTC One X on AT&T is going to drop to $99 on July 29th. We're inclined to believe these rumors, as RadioShack just announced that, you guessed it, the One X will lose $100 off its price tag beginning on Sunday, July 29th, making it $99. This all but confirms that AT&T will drop the price in its stores and online, as well.

To save even more money, you can also take advantage of The Shack's trade-in program, which nets you anywhere between $30 and $300 for your old phone to go towards the purchase of a new phone.

pushover

Alright, follow me on this one. Pushover is an app for Android that allows web apps, scripts, and a ton of other fancy developer things to plug in to your notification shade on your phone or tablet. Ifttt (short for 'If This, Then That') is a web app that lets you script actions that will be performed when predetermined conditions like new emails, new dropbox files, new RSS feed posts, etc., are met. Ifttt now supports Pushover notifications. The internet is officially subject to your whims. Now you can be notified of virtually anything that Ifttt is aware of, directly in the most convenient notification system you have.

UPDATE: Many readers are reporting that the Nexus 7 is now on backorder from OfficeMax and that the coupon may not work any more. That being said, the website still indicates that the tablet will ship in 1 to 3 days. Let us know if you have any luck getting the discount.

Luckily, it has been discovered that OfficeMax has Google's hit 7" tablet in stock (shipping in "1 to 3 days") for $219.99 when you apply a coupon code over the phone.

After Apple's recent success in filing a preliminary injunction against Samsung Galaxy Nexus sales in the US, the device vanished from the Play Store. Shortly after that, the 9th Circuit Court temporarily lifted the ban the Galaxy Nexus briefly appeared for sale again with a note that the device would "ship soon" (1-2 weeks).

Just moments ago, however, order was restored to the universe (or at least the US) – the Galaxy Nexus is now "In Stock" and can be ordered for delivery between 3 and 5 business days.

While it still isn't clear whether the Galaxy Nexus will end up needing the rumored OTA update that would mitigate Apple's complaints with the device (Apple was given until July 12th to respond to Samsung's motion to stay the ban), we'll be tracking the case and keeping you updated with new details as they emerge.

T-Mobile customers excited to get hold of Samsung's latest flagship may have noticed by now that the carrier's base price (for a 16GB device) is $279.99 – yes, that's $80 above every other carrier's price for the 16GB model. Luckily, both Wirefly and Letstalk have lopped that extra $80 off and are now offering the SIII for just $199.99 for new accounts and upgrades. Of course, both retailers are offering Samsung's Galaxy SIII in both its Marble White and Pebble Blue versions.

Just in case you've somehow escaped the SIII's US spec list until now, here are a few reasons why it's one of the greatest devices released so far this year.
