AT&T will offer screen repairs for select devices, starting on November 15

Breaking your phone or tablet is never fun, especially when it means hunting down a questionable repair store to get it fixed. If you are an AT&T customer with one of the carrier's device insurance plans, you're in luck. Starting November 15, you will be able to get your device's screen repaired through AT&T.

The new repair service is available to everyone on AT&T with the Mobile Insurance, Mobile Protection Pack, Mobile Protection Pack for Business, or Multi-Device Protection Pack programs. Once you fork over the $89 deductible, a certified technician from Asurion will come to you and fix your device on the spot. AT&T also offers a 12-month warranty on all repairs.

[Weekend Poll] Smartphones, FIGHT - MWC Edition: Xperia Z2, G Pro 2, Or Galaxy S5?

At this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, three Android smartphone unveilings really did stand above the rest: Sony's Xperia Z2, LG's G Pro 2, and Samsung's Galaxy S5.

We know which one is going to sell best, which will have the biggest marketing budget, and which has more plastique - the Galaxy S5's success in spite any of any perceived shortcomings is all but assured. That's just kind of how these things go.

But for us, the enthusiasts, judged on the merits, it's hard not to look at Sony or LG's latest offerings longingly. The Z2's dual front-facing speakers, a lightly-modified Android experience, large battery, and an elegant industrial design.

[MWC 2014] Impressive Spritz Speed Reading Technology Launching On Samsung Galaxy S5 And Gear 2

Just in case you were worried there wouldn't be anything intriguing or unexpected about Galaxy S5, check this out - Spritz, a new company (launched February 23rd) looking to "reinvent reading" will be coming exclusively to the S5 and Gear 2 by way of an email app. From Spritz's news release it isn't clear whether this will be the default app on the phone or a preloaded one, but the technology itself makes it interesting either way.

Spritz works on the principle that the human brain focuses the eye on one central point in every word, and from that point it can read and comprehend the word.

[Review] Sonos Controller For Android And Sonos S5 Wireless Speaker System: So-So Performance In A Svelte Package

Introduction

Sonos is a company well-known in the tech industry for their line of wireless speaker systems, designed to let you sling music around your house without the  hassle of complex setup processes or routing wires through ceilings and walls. To mark the launch of their Sonos Controller for Android application, Sonos generously loaned me a full multi-room system consisting of two Sonos S5 speaker units and a wireless ZoneBridge router.
