It's almost a foregone conclusion at this point, but Bloomberg is adding its voice to the chorus predicting a new HTC flagship phone this March. Going a step further, Bloomberg also says a smartwatch is coming at the same time. HTC hopes these releases will help it finally dig out of the profit slump of the last few years.
Asus has been teasing a new phone announcement for CES, but phones need wireless certifications, and sometimes those documents give away more than intended. Such appears to be the case for the "ZC451CG," which the product description submitted to the Bluetooth Special Interest Group calls a successor to the ZenFone. This might be what Asus plans to unveil at CES.
You still can't just buy a OnePlus One, even after all these months. There are invites floating around, but it's an extra hurdle you have to clear to give them your money. HTC has been experimenting with different camera gimmicks lately. First there was the Ultrapixel camera in the M7, then the M8 added a second camera for simulated depth of field (that's the Duo Camera, of course).
