SoulCraft THD Open Beta Hits Android Market – Experience Apocalypse, Fight Angels, Demons, And Humans From Your Tegra-Powered Device

Remember SoulCraft THD, the awesome action RPG game we mentioned last month? Well, the open beta finally hit the Android Market today, bringing angels, demons, apocalypse, and rich, realistic environments to your Tegra device. Check out the video below for a taste of the action:

SoulCraft THD allows you to play as an angel (with human and demon options coming later), taking part in a compelling story, set at a time when humans are on the brink of discovering the secret of eternal life.

The game takes players through several real (and realistic) locations including Venice, Rome, and Hamburg (with more locations coming soon), using weapons and spells to battle "lots of different and diversified enemies" as you decide who will win this epic war.

HyperDevBox Studio's New Massive Strategy RPG "Generation Of Chaos" Beats Previous Record, Requires 1.8GB Of Space

HyperDevBox, the publisher of Spectral Souls, which previously wowed us with both the price sticker ($15) and the size of its creation (1GB) topped its own record today with the release of a new game. Generation Of Chaos, which the company dubbed the first massive strategy RPG for Android, nearly doubles the space requirements - you will need over 1.8GB to complete the installation process. That "massive" part gained a whole second meaning there, didn't it?

Promising 100 hours of gameplay, the game invites you to build out and rule your own kingdom, fighting 30v30 real-time battles using over 150 characters in 10 different campaigns.

Meltdown On Mars THD Coming In December 2011 - Tower Defense Meets Gun Bros [Video]

Any time a new game shows up in NVIDIA's TegraZone, we immediately hop on to take a look - after all, only the best of the best games with gorgeous graphics make it that far.

The newest addition to TegraZone this time around is Meltdown On Mars THD - it's what I would call a mix of tower defense and Gun Bros, executed in a way kind of similar to Dungeon Defenders. You can move your main character around freely like in an RPG/action game, all while planting defensive turrets, barricades, and mines in an effort to survive waves of alien attacks.

[New Game] Princess Punt Brings Angry Birds-Like Gameplay With A Fun, Quirky Twist

If you're tired of Angry Birds (who isn't?) but still enjoy the flick-and-break game mechanics, the allow me to turn your attention to a new game called Princess Punt. The name itself is very fitting for the game -- it's weird, quirky, and eye catching. It's more than just a kill-things-and-get-stars philosophy, too -- it also brings RPG action to the genre. The developer is calling it an action puzzle RPG, which I think is quite fitting.

The entire idea behind the game is a simple one: kill monsters. How you kill said monsters is the interesting part, however.

[New Game Review] Inotia 3 Gives Us A Great Hack And Slash, But Is It Ruined By Micropayments?

Inotia 3, at it's core, is a story-driven RPG where you use a party made of six classes to confront your destiny, yadda yadda yadda. Along the way, you'll complete quests, World of Warcraft style, to appease villagers, get loot and become stronger. The game's main story is actually quite expansive; I haven't had the chance to play through the entire thing yet, but the developer touts 230+ quests, 130+ maps and enough quest text to let you get right deep into it.

This is actually true: the game doesn't shy away from the text, and from what I can tell the translation is much better than the game's market entry.

[New Game] Zenonia 3 Lands In The Android Market, Brings New Characters, A New World, And A Lower Price Tag

If you're into gaming on your Android, then there's a solid chance that you've at least heard of Zenonia. But, for those that are not familiar with the series, Zenonia is an incredibly popular RPG made for the small screen, slightly reminiscent of old-school Zelda games.

Today marks the landing of the third episode in this epic trilogy, offering new features along with the same familiar gameplay that fans of the series have gotten used to. One of the more prominent features is a new world to explore, with 227 unique maps and 126 quests to keep you entertained throughout the journey.

I'm not afraid to say I play Dungeons & Dragons; I think it's a great way for people to have fun together and enjoy a truly dynamic narrative. However, since I write about tech and other nerdy stuff for a living, I like having the old-school pen and paper mesh with technology whenever possible.

However, like tech, Dungeons & Dragons isn't for those who don't have much in the way of disposable income; you've got numerous things to buy before you can get started, including handbooks and manuals that can run you up to $35+ each. Like the books, multi-sided dice are an integral part of the game, and a set of 10 standard dice will run you ~$7.99.

Dungeon Defenders: First Wave Just Released To Market, PvP Arena Announced!

It's certainly been a good few days for Android gaming, hasn't it? And it looks like the trend is still going: the hotly anticipated Android version of popular iOS game Dungeon Defenders has just landed in the Market with a holiday price of $3. What makes the game so great? Aside from the fact that it's powered by the Unreal engine (!) - which means the graphics are superb - it's long been one of the best-rated iOS games on the market. And indeed, after just an hour on the Android Market, the game has 15 ratings for an average of 4.8 stars.

ZENONIA 2: The Lost Memories Hits The Market, Ready To Take Your RPG Dreams To The Next Level

Happy holidays, RPG fans! If you're rocking an Android device, you're in luck - GAMEVIL has just let ZENONIA 2 loose into the Android Market, complete with retro graphics, PvP, and of course, a dark plot conveyed in text that looks like it came from a typewriter.

Judging by what I've seen in the short time I've had to play with it so far, I have no choice but to agree with GAMEVIL's claim that the game is "enhanced in every aspect compared to the original." In addition to the aforementioned retro graphics, PvP, and dark plot, your character can belong to one of four classes ("Paladin," "Shooter," Magician," and "Warrior"), and the gameplay spans 152 maps, 98 quests, and three different levels of difficulty.
