As the world of Android gaming grows larger, more and better talent is continually attracted to the platform. ROBOTA: Vengeance is a game currently under development by SiXiTS Studios based on a story by Doug Chiang. The team at SiXiTS is run by creative talent that's worked on graphic design and 3D animation for films like Star Wars Episodes I & II*, Terminator 2, War of the Worlds, Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Azkaban, and Disney's A Christmas Carol.

Meet Andru. He's an Android. Like all Androids, he's adorable. He sits on your desk and makes you smile at his cute little expressionless face while you toil away on those TPS reports. This little 'droid is a hard worker, too. When you need him to, he transforms into a USB wall charger and provides precious juice to all your gadgets.

Your new little buddy costs $25, and he'll make sure he's worth every penny.

Even those of you living and breathing Android may find the topic of this story a bit too geeky, mostly because it's completely impractical in day-to-day life.

However, if you ever want a set fun Android characters with letters embedded in them - perhaps, to use a few in an interesting way on a flyer or in an email, or in a resume that starts each paragraph with one of these guys (don't overuse them though, as they're hard to read)?

Our pal Andrew Schillinger - the "lead code monkey" (no, seriously) at AdultSwim.com - pinged us a few hours ago to let us know that Adult Swim has released its first Android app/game, and it's everything we'd expect from AS. It's called Robot Unicorn Attack, and it takes you though the dream world of a robot unicorn.

Robot Unicorn Attack finally arrives on the Android Market!

• "Creates an experience that is quite honestly too awesome for words." -Touch Arcade
• "There's nothing better than storming the purple shores of some nameless land as a robot, rainbow-sh***ing unicorn to the beat of Erasure's 'Always'." -Kotaku
• Compete with other Robot Unicorns via OpenFeint leaderboards and achievements
• Finally, the addicting Internet sensation gallops majestically onto Android Market

Everyone has dreams…even robot unicorns.

What better way for Sony to promote its newest line of Xperia Arc smartphones than by hiring the little (big) green robot to dance? This Android has some pretty slick dance moves, giving a whole new meaning to the phrase "doing the robot".

Sit back, turn up the volume, and check out this awesome video:

walking android

Was John Connor right? Are robots going to be our downfall? Terminators? Androids? Andronators?

At Google's Developer Show in Tokyo, something that might just be one of the coolest Android creations ever was demonstrated - a real, moving Google Android logo. Built and developed by the Japanese company, RT the Android was shown to be able to walk, open its mouth, and wave its arms. Best of all, the Android is controlled entirely from an Android OS handset.

Motorola robot screen test

Did you know Motorola has a Labs team that does cool things and then blogs about them? They're pretty cool like that. Correction: interesting piece of trivia - did you know MOTO Labs actually has nothing to do with Motorola? With a name like MOTO, one could think… well never mind, I apologize for the mistake.

The Finger Test

For example, in January they tested the screens on 4 flagship mobile phones by swiping a finger across the screen in a drawing app and recording the resulting patterns, complete with photos and a video.
