Giving T-Mo customers a few things to look forward to in the coming months, a roadmap of planned release/update dates leaked earlier today, revealing the proposed dates for several new device launches, as well as dates on which users can expect updates to Ice Cream Sandwich.
According to a leaked roadmap that PocketNow recently got a hold of, it looks like LG may have some pretty big things (okay - maybe just one) in store for the remainder of 2011. Everything from low-end to groundbreaking, LG is looking to run the gamut in the Android smartphone game.

Last we heard, Samsung's DROID Charge was scheduled to be released on April 7th - yesterday. Well needless to say, that date has come and gone without so much as a mention of Samsung's LTE handset; however, thanks to Sears, we now have a new timeline: April 14.
The cat's out of the bag on Dell's upcoming (all the way into early 2012) Android offerings thanks to leaked slides showing their phone and tablet roadmaps. Incidentally, the slides also reveal that the next version of Android (after Honeycomb) will be called "Ice Cream" instead of what we previously though, "Ice Cream Sandwich." It's interesting to know that devices are already being planned to run on this technically unannounced version of Android, but what will surprise you even more are the amazing specs.
NVIDIA has been the talk of Barcelona for the past couple of days. Many of the premier devices announced at Mobile World Congress, such as the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the LG Optimus Pad, have been packing the new dual-core Tegra 2 chipset. Hot on the heels of these hardware announcements, NVIDIA just revealed the quad-core successor of the Tegra 2 to the world (which may or may not end up being called Tegra 3).
Having one device leaked is so last fiscal year, man. Verizon is hip to the new trend of leaking out details of all of your devices and giving people a heads-up to not buy phones that are out right now since they're just gonna get replaced anyway.
A Motorola device with the model number XT610 should also be seeing an October release date, along with an affordable price tag and a 4.3 inch display (although the other specs, such as the camera and the processor, are said to be downgraded from Motorola's other 4.3 inch beast, the Droid X).The fun doesn't stop there: a device with the model number A957 is slated for a mid-to-late October release, which PhoneArena believes is the previously rumored Droid Pro. Finally, a successor to Palm Pre, the Pre 2, should be launching in October as well. Even though it will almost certainly run WebOS rather Android, I'm looking forward to checking it out, if only to compare it to its Android-based competitors.
There have been plenty of rumors lately about the iPhone launching on Verizon within the next several months. Looking at Verizon’s incredibly successful history with Android and the Droid brand, it seems unlikely; and in case you thought that Verizon might be giving up on Android, think again. A Verizon roadmap leaked by Boy Genius Report shows that the Big Red has plenty of new Android goodies in store for us over the course of the next year.
