Fans of point-and-click adventure games are spoiled for choice on mobile platforms. It seems like every week we get a new game or a remastered classic for connoisseurs to chew on. This week's special is Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, a 1993 Sierra original that was remastered last year. This tale of a bookstore owner investigating a series of murders on New Orleans is one of the favorites of the genre.

Transport Tycoon Review: An Easy Ride For Those Who Know Where They're Going, But Newcomers Might Not Enjoy The Trip

Transport Tycoon needs no introduction, but I'm going to introduce it anyway. You see, as popular as this title was, many of us managed to miss it. Actually, that probably doesn't come as much of a surprise. A game about transporting people and products around isn't exactly the easiest sell. Yet if you take the time to dig in, there is a wealth of content here that's sure to hook you for a very long time. But while the the interface is now completely touch friendly, it doesn't make diving into this game any easier.

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition Gameplay Trailer Released, Coming To Android Sometime After November 28th

Back in July, Overhaul Games announced that they would be reviving the RPG classic Baldur's Gate for the PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. Since then, all has been quite on that front. But today, the company released the first gameplay trailer, which gives a nice look into what players can expect from this rehashed title.

It's worth noting that this video is from the PC version of the game, but since it's running on the Infinity Engine, the mobile version should look nearly identical.

The PC, Mac, and iOS release is slated for November 28th, but unfortunately, the Android variant is listed as coming "soon" after that.

The Bard's Tale Saunters In To An Android Pub Near You, Packs Cary Elwes And Renaissance Humor In Its 3.5GB Package

No, it's not the Bard of Avon, but this smarmy rogue should still be able to keep you plenty entertained. The Bard's Tale is a Diablo-ish RPG starring Cary Elwes (best known for ruining your perception of the Dread Pirate Roberts and Mel Brooks' Robin Hood by doing this). Complete with absurd humor, catchy drinking songs, and adventure galore, this game promises to keep you engaged for up to 3.5GB worth of your time (for Tegra device owners, 1.7GB otherwise). Yes, it's friggin' huge.

We'll be doing a review of this game before too long, so I won't spoil everything.

Z Origins Makes Its Way To Android, Reminds You That RTS Games Existed Before Command And Conquer

It seems that mobile gaming is a haven for all the old classics to reappear. Rising even further from the ashes of the past than most other recent arrivals comes Z Origins, a remake of the RTS from the DOS days simply called "Z" by The Bitmap Brothers. It predates notable fan favorite Command and Conquer from Westwood Studios. Though it did come out roughly four years after Dune II (also from Westwood) which served as the archetype for most RTS games to follow, Z departs from traditional RTS gameplay in that collection of resources and structure construction as a requisite for certain units were not part of the game.

Some of you out there may remember Another World, a cult classic video game that's seen life on a number of platforms since its 1991 debut. Well, the minds at DotEmu have brought Another World back again, this time to Android, and with HD graphics.

You may remember Leisure Suit Larry - an "adventure game," following a middle-aged man in his pursuit of attractive women, navigating through pixelated environments featuring up to 16 colors.

Replay says that if all goes well with their initial remake, they will look into remaking the rest of the series as well, for a total of seven games, and potentially making direct ports of the originals as well.

Right now the only information we have regarding release is that Replay plans to debut the first game in early 2012.
