As a "new" company that caters almost exclusively to technology enthusiasts, OnePlus has been under the microscope ever since it announced its One flagship phone... with no small amount of criticism coming from this very website. But a string of recent posts on the official OnePlus forums prompted a response from the company's social team. Basically, customers accused OnePlus of shipping refurbished One phones and claiming they were new, a practice that isn't unheard of from consumer goods manufacturers and retailers of all sizes.

If you want a high-end phone for a GSM network, this deal will probably beat anything you're likely to find on Black Friday. Right now one eBay seller is unloading a refurbished AT&T version of the HTC One M8 for just $379.99, almost $300 off of the retail off-contract price and a solid eighty bucks cheaper than our previous best One M8 deal. You can pick it up with free shipping in grey, silver, or gold colors.

There are a lot of good options in the mid-sized tablet range, and if you're a fan of Samsung's designs, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is among the best. Right now you can grab a refurbished black model off of eBay for $199.99, a full $200 off of the retail price. Of course, it's not quite the latest model (that would be the Galaxy Tab S, with its AMOLED screen), so most retailers have it discounted, but it's still a fantastic deal.

It won't be long now until the 2013 Nexus 7 is no longer Google's newest tablet. Depending on who you are, that makes now the best or worst time to buy one. If you don't care about having the latest stuff and would rather save some bucks, then this is a good time to do precisely that. Groupon has a refurbished version of the 32GB Nexus 7 with LTE (otherwise known as the expensive one) marked down to just $199.99.

If you need a great phone and aren't interested in a contract, but you're willing to compromise on what's technically the cutting edge, you're in a good position to save a bit of money. For example, take this perfectly good 32GB HTC One M7 (that's the one before the one they're selling now).

eBay just loves discounting that 2013 Nexus 7, or at least a lot of the merchants that use eBay do. Google's perennial 7-inch tablet is back on the Daily Deal list, this time in a 32GB Wi-Fi flavor. The tablet is going for $159.99, a full $110 off of the retail price in the Play Store, so long as you're OK with a refurbished unit. According to the listing, this particular model is an Asus Authorized Refurbished product with a 90 day warranty from the manufacturer.

We love us some cheap external storage here at Android Police, and today Amazon subsidiary Woot has a great deal on a jumbo-sized MicroSD card. The site is offering a 64GB SanDisk Ultra MicroSDXC card, refurbished, for $24.99. That's less than half the retail price of the new card, and a solid 35% off of Amazon's price. This is an ongoing Woot sale, so it won't disappear after today - the price is good until September 1st, or until stock runs out.

When Sammy's Tab Pro/Note Pro line debuted, the Android masses alternately laughed and fumed at their over-the-top pricing. Thank goodness for market correction: nearly all the models in the series have seen significant discounts from the usual suspects, and today the 12.2-inch Galaxy Tab Pro gets another go-round on eBay. A refurbished version of the 32GB tablet can be yours for $347.99, a full $300 off the MSRP and almost $200 cheaper than Amazon's current price.

Now that Android Wear is a thing and watches are coming out that turn Google's take on the concept into a reality, it's time for the more budget-minded among us to turn their eyes over to some of the previous smartwatches that tackled the form factor before it was cool. One such option is the Sony SmartWatch 2, a device that was never mind-blowing but perfectly capable of displaying calls and notifications like the alternatives that have launched since.
