EA Mobile recently released "the most hotly anticipated racing game ever made for Android" to the Market, unleashing Real Racing 2 – an intense racing game that will keep you on the edge of your seat as you navigate through over 40 miles of track in 15 gorgeous environments.

Real Racing 2 features a dynamic Career mode, allowing players to work their way up from rookie to pro, and also offers touch or tilt controls, which means players can – to some extent – customize the gameplay experience to their liking.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, previously available only on the Flexion store and for the Xperia Play, is now in the Android Market. It's the same action-filled cops vs. runners game from the 2010 remake of the old-school classic, so buckle up and get ready.

I've never really thought racing games could work on tablets or smartphones with touchscreen controls, maybe the upcoming title Race of Champions will change my mind. I sure hope it does, because by the looks of it, this game is shaping up to be awesome. Take a look at some of these screenshots:

Game dev Polarbit recently released a new offering to the Android Market called Reckless Getaway, where you play the part of a wheelman after a bank robbery. Carrying the same kill-or-be-killed vibe as Reckless Racing, it's your job to get away from the fuzz any way you see fit -- including throwing them into oncoming traffic, walls, or whatever other element you can find.

In their latest addition to their "games we've shamelessly ripped off from other companies" line of titles, developer Gameloft has released "GT Racing: Motor Academy Free+" to the marketplace. At its core, it is a bastardized version of Gran Turismo that has been stuffed with micropayments to specifically eliminate the charm of Gran Turismo.

I'm not going to even try and sugarcoat the fact that you're playing a completely ripped off concept: much like most of Gameloft's  other titles, there is nothing new or original here.

Usually, when video games and zombies cross paths, the latter end up being our enemies. Because of their slow, plodding and plentiful nature, target practice against zombies is a fun (and scary) endeavor. However, in Com2uS' newest title, you're put in a unique position: this time, you're trying to save a zombie from his untimely death.

In Zombie Runaway you take control of a zombie who is running away (duh) from "evil" humans.

Remember F-Zero from back in the Super NES days? Or perhaps the more modern WipEout for PS3? Those are both great hovercraft racing games. Do you know what would make them better, though? Guns. And bombs. And all other sorts of artillery that can be used to blow folks up. That's where Protoxide: Death Race comes in, because it has just that. Have a look at the gameplay teaser:

Looks sick, right?
