Neither of these devices is likely to be released outside of Asia, so if that kills your interest, feel free to stop reading here.

Samsung Introduces Korea To The Galaxy S5 LTE-A, The Phone's Impressive QHD Display, And Its Snapdragon 805 Processor

Being the successful multinational conglomerate that Samsung is, its products are known the world over. But some of its toys are destined for use just in its homeland of Korea. The newly unveiled Galaxy S5 LTE-A is one such product. We can drool over the device, with its support for LTE Advanced and data speeds that most of us in the States can only dream of experiencing (Samsung's advertising speeds of 225mbps down), but there's more of a reason for us to take notice of it than that.

[Weekend Poll] Do You Actually Want A Display With A Resolution Greater Than 1080p In Your Next Phone?

LG's G3 has a lot of pixels. Like, a lot a lot. 534 of them per inch, if you want to get precise. How sharp is it? It's pretty damn sharp.

DSC04176

Yes, this actually is the G3's screen. Wowzers.

But is there any practical, even technical, reason to keep pushing on the pixel density front in smartphones? Or will QHD finally be our stopping point? Should 1080p have been? Do you care?

Rumor: Motorola DROID HD/Spyder To Be Released As The DROID RAZR, Infused With A qHD Super AMOLED Display

Remember that sleek 4.5-inch Motorola looker we encountered last month? It's back, but no longer will it be known as the DROID HD or the DROID Spyder; according to the latest rumor (courtesy of This is my Next), the device is none other than the DROID RAZR. Yes, that's the name of the phone that in 2004 saved Motorola from bankruptcy (before it plunged into the profitless dregs of mobile society a second time, that is).

DROID 3 Gets In-Depth Hands-On: Pentile Display And Puny Amounts Of RAM Included

The DROID 3, like the DROID 2, has been pretty lax about showing itself off prior to any sort of official announcement from Motorola. Today, the DROID 3 has been all but fully revealed by a member over at XDA China. Two things from that post immediately caught our attention: a qHD Pentile display, and 512MB of RAM. Both of them should make you queasy.

We aren't big fans of Moto's Pentile qHD displays, particularly as it appeared on the DROID X2.
