[New Game] Cheese Tower For Android Is A Grate Physics Puzzle Game That's A Brieze To Play

You know how it goes. You're sitting back in your recliner, watching your numerous security feeds, monitoring your piles and piles of cheese, when suddenly, the mice sneak in to steal all your Pepperjack and Gorgonzola! How dairy they! Also, you're a cat. That's the premise of Cheese Tower, a puzzle game that challenges you to remove square mice from a stack of square cheese without dropping any cheese.

Tapping the mice will make them disappear, causing the tower to begin to fall. Of course, we don't want to lose that precious cheese, now do we? Our hero curd be a bit more careful.

Twisted Physics Game 'World Of Goo' Now Available In The Android Market

Last month, we got word that popular game World of Goo would be making its way to Android, and that day has finally arrived.

For those unfamiliar with the title, you command tiny living balls of goo, using them to build structures, bridges, and whatever else you can think of to achieve the end goal: reach the exit. This game is insanely popular on iOS, Windows, Mac, Linux, and Wii, and looks absolutely beautiful on Android. Take a peek at the trailer:

[New Game] Beyond Ynth HD Is One Of The Most Well-Done Puzzlers We've Seen On Android

Beyond Ynth may not be the most catchy title in the world, but the game has already proved to be a big hit on the iOS App Store for both iPhone and iPad.

If you're familiar with the game, you'll no doubt be pleased to know that it has made the big jump across to the Android world, and is now available to buy from the Market for $3.99.

The game itself is quite simple: you must complete various puzzles on multiple levels, recovering stolen diamonds along the way. These puzzles not only look great, but the physics involved in them is very realistic as well, making for an immersive gaming experience that few mobile games can offer.

[New Game] Princess Punt Brings Angry Birds-Like Gameplay With A Fun, Quirky Twist

If you're tired of Angry Birds (who isn't?) but still enjoy the flick-and-break game mechanics, the allow me to turn your attention to a new game called Princess Punt. The name itself is very fitting for the game -- it's weird, quirky, and eye catching. It's more than just a kill-things-and-get-stars philosophy, too -- it also brings RPG action to the genre. The developer is calling it an action puzzle RPG, which I think is quite fitting.

The entire idea behind the game is a simple one: kill monsters. How you kill said monsters is the interesting part, however.

Making their first entry into the Android Market, the developers at Enfeel Inc. may have struck gold with Birzzle, a fast-paced puzzle game that offers familiar "match three," Bejeweled-style gameplay with a refreshing twist.

While the game ostensibly relies on the tried-and-true premise of matching objects in a grid formation, Birzzle offers something a bit new - the player can drag and drop birds to create groups, but can only grab hold of those birds who are not blocked by others. This speeds up the gameplay considerably, and, along with a multitude of special blocks, keeps the game interesting and fun.

There are myriad hidden-object games developed for Android, but we've picked out five that we think are worth checking out.

Mystique

First up is Mystique, a hidden-object game that comes in three parts - only the first of which is free. It's a fairly standard experience for this genre, and places the player in a grotesque bathroom with blood, bandages, and an electric shaver.

Apparatus Finally Leaves Beta, Unveils A Bunch Of New Features (Including Rockets!)

I feel a little bit of an attachment to Apparatus - we were one of the first blogs to review the game, which was a nice discovery while browsing Reddit one day. I've seen the app grow and add a whole boatload of interesting features; it truly is one of the Android platform's best games.

So when we got word today that it was finally leaving beta and stepping into the world of "finished" products, I couldn't help but smile a little bit. It's good to see games go through an entire development cycle and remain interesting and relatively bug-free all the way through.

[Review] Greedy Spiders Doesn't Need Any Fancy Physics, Prefers To Puzzle You The Old-Fashioned Way

App developers, I think it's time we put a moratorium on the titling of games with "(Adjective) (Animal)", don't you think? It's getting a bit tired, and trying to emulate Angry Birds doesn't really do you any favors.

Anyway, on to the review.

Greedy Spiders is a turn-based puzzle game in which you are looking to save flies from their grisly demise at the hands of the aforementioned Greedy Spiders. I believe the fact that the spiders are greedy has to be highlighted, because otherwise you are just preventing them from eating.

You free the insects by chopping off spokes of a spider web one at a time; the spider will then take its turn and move down a strand, shifting play back to you.

[Review] LEGO Creationary Lacks The Imagination The Toy Is Famous For

Ah, LEGO... one of my personal favorite toys from my childhood. LEGO is arguably one of the best toys for children because it enables them to create and truly use their imaginations; instead of dictating what world the mind can play in, it encourages us to create our own.

So naturally when I found out that LEGO was releasing a game based on their build-a-board-game Creationary, I was a little excited. It made me think of fond memories of Lego Island from my youth - 3D LEGO games definitely have potential to be serious fun.

Creationary plays a lot like the classic board game Pictionary, in that you're given a time limit to guess what is being created in front of your very eyes.
