When Google first announced Google Drive, the company made waves, if not by being better than Dropbox, then at least by being cheaper. 100GB of storage on Google Drive was $4.99 a month to Dropbox's $19.99. Well, today Dropbox is getting closer to being competitive with Google by increasing the amount of storage for its Pro users.
From Dropbox's blog entry on the subject:
Today we’re happy to announce that our upgrades are getting a huge upgrade!
Once in a while Amazon throws a sale we can't miss, and today's SanDisk memory blowout as part of the Gold Box deals is a perfect example of just that.
We have fast SanDisk MicroSD "Ultra" cards ranging from 16GB ($18.99) to 64GB ($59.99) at lowest prices ever for these cards according to all the price checks I've run. The 32GB MicroSD is in the sweet spot of $27.99. Remember, these are not Class 2 or Class 4 - they're high quality Class 6 and Class 10 cards rated for 30MB/s transfer speeds and Full HD video recording. Read More
When we first took a look at Apex launcher, we loved it. One of the better ICS launchers is about to get even better, as the app gets bumped to version 1.2. The update brings, among other things, support for themes and a ludicrously high 10x10 grid of icons on phones. For those of you that like have touch screen phones, but hate how easy it is to tap on things without machine-like precision. Read More

Let's be honest, there isn't exactly a shortage of Android apps. What there is a shortage of, though, is quality Android apps. You know, apps with great interfaces, support for new features (such as ActionBar), and formats (tablets, TV, etc.) Part of the problem could simply be that a lot of the people developing (cr)apps for Android aren't experienced developers... or if they are experienced devs, they don't know how to get the most from the OS. Qualcomm is going to release an upgraded version of its S4 generation Snapdragon chipset in the second half of 2012, the company announced at MWC 2012 today.
The more capable and powerful S4 "Pro" variant of the original dual-core MSM8960 chipset (which can be found in the HTC One X, for example) will feature an Adreno 320 GPU as opposed to Adreno 225 in the regular S4 MSM8960. Before this announcement, Adreno 320 was scheduled to accompany only the quad-core Krait CPUs, like the APQ8064 and the MSM8974 which won't be coming out until late 2012/early 2013. Read More
