Google Suspends Launch Of Nexus Q, Promises Free Q To Those Who Pre-Ordered

Google has indefinitely suspended the launch of the Nexus Q to consumers so they can make it "do even more than it does today." Which translates to, roughly, "sorry, everyone is telling us this thing is basically useless as is, so please give us time to fix it." Those who pre-ordered will be getting free Q's, though, so that's pretty awesome. Here's the email Google sent out to pre-order customers:

We have an important update about your Nexus Q pre-order.

When we announced Nexus Q at Google I/O, we gave away devices to attendees for an early preview. The industrial design and hardware were met with great enthusiasm.

AT&T's Red Galaxy S III Will Be Available For Pre-Order July 15th, In Stores July 29th

Well, so much for the idea of a patriotic-themed launch party for this device. Still, if you're on AT&T and you're excited about getting your hands on the exclusive red version of Samsung's latest and greatest flagship phone, your wait is about to be at an end. In a few short days, starting on July 15th, AT&T will be offering the device en rouge via pre-order on its site.

The device will land in stores next to the blue and white versions on July 29th. A note to retailers: your opportunity has passed. If you put a stars and stripes border or decorations on your display now, it will just look tacky.

The Galaxy S III Is Officially Available In The U.S. On T-Mobile In Some Areas, Other Carriers To Follow

It was less than two months ago that the Galaxy S III was first announced to the world at Samsung's super classy special event. Now, the device is available inside the US borders. Though, there are a few catches. For starters, the device is only available on T-Mobile so far, according to a press release from Samsung. You can order it online, or from "select retail stores." This is in line with T-Mobile's previous statements where the company announced it would be splitting the launch in twain.

The other carriers' availability is a little murky. According to Samsung's official press release, the device will become available "in-store and online within the next several weeks." It's unclear when any of the carriers will have the device available in stores.

Update: We've heard from Samsung that this page was put up by Amazon by mistake (aka, it was set to auto-publish), and has since been taken down. If you submitted an order, it'll likely be refunded in a short time, if it hasn't already. We can still take something from this, though - the Note 10.1 is coming soon (probably next month), and it'll likely be $550 for the 32GB version.

Original Article: Pre-orders for Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 have just gone live on Amazon. You'll need to shell out 550 big ones to get your hands on the upsized sibling of the original Note.

AT&T Goes Live With Samsung Galaxy SIII Pre-Orders

As promised, AT&T has gone live with pre-orders for the hotly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy SIII, which was just confirmed for the carrier three days ago. Customers are now free to stake claim to the phone that may indeed change the way Android phones are sold in the US. AT&T is the second carrier to officially launch pre-orders, following Sprint. Verizon's pre-orders are also expected to begin today.

[Update: Pre-Orders Are Live] Sprint Announces The Galaxy S III Available June 21, Pre-Orders Start June 5 - $199 For 16GB, $249 For 32GB

Alongside Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, Sprint has announced that it, too, will be carrying the next Galaxy in just a few short weeks. As far as we can tell, the device will be unbranded aside from the standard Sprint logos, but we've yet to confirm this (Sprint has not provided images).

Yesterday, we'd heard from Samsung that the device would be coming to five carriers in the US, and with Sprint's announcement, we're now up to all five. Sprint's will be the only Galaxy S III in the US to come with Google Wallet pre-loaded on the device, which makes sense, as AT&T, VZW, and T-Mobile are all members of the ISIS mobile payment platform alliance.

US Cellular Announces The Samsung Galaxy S III, Pre-Orders Begin June 12

Alongside Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile, regional carrier US Cellular has made official that it will be carrying Samsung's Galaxy S III, with pre-orders beginning on June 12th. Pricing has yet to be announced, but as a regional carrier, US Cellular often has slightly higher premiums than its national counterparts, so potentially expect something above the standard $199 price-tag for the 16GB model.

As with all the announced US Galaxy S III devices, it is packing a Snapdragon S4, rather than a quad-core Exynos processor, which means full LTE support.

US Cellular will offer the device in both blue and white; however, only the Marble White color will be available with the 32GB capacity version.

We already knew that Sprint's HTC One X-inspired EVO 4G LTE would be available for preorder on May 7th, but Sprint recently issued a friendly reminder to its customers, publishing a live countdown page which ends tomorrow morning at 6am PST and promises viewers a chance to "call dibs" on the latest addition to the carrier's "most adored family of smartphones." Starting tomorrow, the EVO 4G LTE can be preordered for $199 with a new two-year agreement or eligible upgrade.
