The Fire TV Stick is a fantastic little video streaming device, according to our own Cameron Summerson. Though it lacks some of the more complex features of its big brother the Fire TV, it can handle all of Amazon's diverse digital media offerings and plenty of apps and games from the Amazon App Store to boot. Amazon customers in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Austria will have a chance to check out the Fire TV Stick for themselves on April 15th.

[Hands-On] Saygus V2 Pre-Orders Open Today — $549 If You Act Quick And Want The Most Intriguing Smartphone We Saw At CES

Update: Pre-order registrations have been extended "due to high demand," until Monday February 2nd, 12pm MST. Beside the $50 discount you get for registering, you'll also receive an extra battery and a glass screen protector. Pre-orders should open on Monday, but the discount and freebies will be gone then.

Beside Energous, the most novel company I met with at CES 2015 was Saygus. Here was this start-up I hadn't heard about touting a superphone of sorts, with bells and whistles to rock most bells and blow most whistles, an unconventional product that seemed, on paper, more hallucinogenic than the most optimistic crowd-funding project you've come across.

And they will... for just one day. Considerably less than one day, in fact, since the promotion will actually only be available for two hours, 7-9PM Eastern Standard Time. That's in North America - in Europe it will go on sale at 7-9PM Greenwich Mean Time, and in Hong Kong and Taiwan it goes on sale from 7-9PM Hong Kong Time (presumably tomorrow, since it's already passed for the 20th).
