Alongside Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile, regional carrier US Cellular has made official that it will be carrying Samsung's Galaxy S III, with pre-orders beginning on June 12th. Pricing has yet to be announced, but as a regional carrier, US Cellular often has slightly higher premiums than its national counterparts, so potentially expect something above the standard $199 price-tag for the 16GB model.
As with all the announced US Galaxy S III devices, it is packing a Snapdragon S4, rather than a quad-core Exynos processor, which means full LTE support. Read More
Last night, Samsung announced that the Galaxy S III would be available on five different U.S. carriers: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular. Each carrier's individual PRs have already begun rolling in, so we're starting to get an idea of when we can expect this device to hit the states; for Big Red, pre-orders will begin on June 6th promptly at 7 AM EST.
Aesthetically, the device doesn't deviate from its international counterpart, and according to these press shots, looks exactly like our leak from last night. Read More

It's worth noting that Amazon has a policy of not collecting payments on pre-orders until the item has shipped. Read More
We reported last night that, due to an ITC order on an Apple patent infringement claim, at least some of HTC's One X and EVO 4G LTE smartphones had been halted at shipping ports by US Customs.
The implications of this for the EVO 4G LTE just got worse, as Sprint has been forced to concede that the planned May 18th launch will have to be delayed until the customs investigation is completed. Read More

HTC's One X is hands-down the best smartphone released this year. While the version we're seeing here in the States (on AT&T, to be specific) isn't quite the beast the quad-core version found overseas is, the AT&T variant does pack LTE. Other specs:

Thankfully, those cutting-edge specs aren't going to break your budget, either: the phone is now available for pre-order on Amazon Wireless for $150 for both the gray and white models - that's $50 less than you'll pay to get it straight from AT&T. Read More

Three days ago, Sprint finally announced pre-order and availability details for its version of the Galaxy Nexus. Turns out that the demand was more than expected, as the Now Network is completely sold out of its pre-order inventory.
Considering we don't often hear about carriers selling out of pre-order devices, this might be a good indication that the Sprint GNex could be even more difficult than anticipated to find on retail shelves beginning on April 22. Read More
