EA Releases Official 'World Series Of Poker' To The Play Store, And It Might Actually Support Your Device

The turn, the river, and the flop. If those three things mean something to you (together, not individually), then you're probably at least a little bit of a Texas Hold 'Em fan. And if you're a Hold 'Em fan, then you may like to play. And if you may like to play, then you probably like to play for free. Good news! The World Series of Poker game is now available for Android courtesy of EA. It even supports a surprising number of devices, too!

It's not just Hold 'Em, either - you can also play Omaha poker, and others. Touted as the "most authentic poker game on Google Play," WSoP offers a number of features sure to please the most avid of poker fan:

Full Tilt Poker Rush Mobile, The First Real Money Poker App, Now Available

We all knew it was coming - Full Tilt Poker Rush Mobile, the first real money poker game on Android, has finally hit the Android Market, and is available for devices running Froyo, due to the Flash 10.1 requirement. The app still bears a beta sticker, so be careful with those hard earned greens of yours. Obviously, it goes without saying that you should also find a stable connection, preferably WiFi, unless you want to fold every hand you get disconnected from.

Full Tilt Set To Launch Real-Money Rush Poker App

There are times when it pays to be an Android user, literally. Poker enthusiast website PokerTwitch received word that Full Tilt's Rush Poker will soon be coming to some lucky Froyo-running Android phones. This appears to be the first genuine real-money poker game for Android and trumps the offerings in Apple's strict App store whose policies do not permit gambling for real currency. There are online solutions available but none so convenient as a native application. Rush Poker is a new style of online play from Full Tilt and seems well-suited to the pick-up-and-play style of mobile gaming.

Select Black Card members of Full Tilt's poker site are receiving e-mails inviting them to participate in Rush Poker Mobile's beta launch if their device is one of the following:

  • HTC Evo 4G

Poker has never been a hobby of mine, but the ability to have a quick go with my phone anywhere I am may just be the impetus I need to give this a shot.
