roundr

As an Android site, we try to keep a close eye on newcomers to the Play Store. Sometimes that helps us find new, innovative, and highly useful apps. On the other side of that, it also help us find WTF apps for the roundups. But every once in a while an app shows up that simply baffles the mind, because its existence is so seemingly questionable it's hard to imagine why it's a thing in the first place.

And that's what RoundR is.

Basically, it rounds the corners of your homescreen and all apps. Rounded. Corners. That's it. Because square corners are offensive and rude to some, I guess.

We've looked at a wide variety of accessories over the past couple of years: cases, cradles, headphones, speakers, etc., but I'm not quite sure we've ever seen a product like Une Bobine. In a nutshell, it's a microUSB cable. But it's not your average USB cable - it's an adjustable, bendable, flexible USB cable that can be used to hold your phone – a dock and cable in one, if you will.

Now, the first question you may be asking yourself is: why would I want this? To answer that honestly, I really have no idea. I've had this thing for several weeks now, and I really can't find a good use for it.

curiosity

Have you ever felt the need to endlessly tap on your screen for no real reason? Do like watching things turn from one color to another? Then we have the game for you! It's called Curiosity, and it's mind bogglingly boring. And pointless.

Here's the gist: there's a giant cube. Like, huge. And the entire world "chips away" at it little by little in real time. Why? To satisfy their own curiosity (hence the name of the "game"). Apparently, there are new things to look at with each layer and whoever chips the last block will find out some "life changing" secret.
