PhoneSuit-Thumb

PhoneSuit's Flex Pocket Charger is smaller than most options out there, but in this case, that's a good thing. This external battery pack plugs into your phone's micro USB port and rests there while it recharges. This makes it more mobile than the significantly larger 15,000mAh battery backs that you would typically leave stationary while your device charges, though that also means it will likely only recharge your handset once. Now it's available from Tanga for $29.99, a 50% discount from its usual price.

What if I told you that you could carry an 80" Android device around in your pocket? What do you think you would say to me? Perhaps you'd say, "Clearly you are talking about a pico projector device and I'm not falling for your shenanigans." Dang, you're really good at this game. What you probably didn't expect, though, is that the Lightplay by PhoneSuit, as it is called, also features a motion controller with a built-in keyboard, a tripod and access to the entire Google Play Store.

If there is one thing I constantly have to think about on a pretty much daily basis, it's juice. Not the kind of juice you pour yourself in the morning at breakfast, but the kind that is needed to power by insatiable electronics on the go. Last August, Phonesuit sent me a review unit of their 1000 mAh Primo Cube, but this year they really stepped up their game and sent over a whopping 8200 mAh portable charger called the Primo Power Core, compared to which the Cube is a mere drop in the bucket.

A couple of weeks ago, Engadget ran a piece on a new product from a company called Phonesuit aimed at smartphone users with MiniUSB and MicroUSB charging ports (this should cover every Android phone as far as I know). Shortly after Engadget's piece, we were contacted by Phonesuit and offered a review unit, which we gladly accepted.

This contest is now over. We have selected the winners - see if you are one of them towards the bottom of the page.
