Remember the bug-fix build for the HTC Thunderbolt that we leaked last month? Turns out Verizon decided it was OTA material, because the support docs were just updated with details of this same build (2.11.605.19).

The OTA brings a handful of fixes to Big Red's first LTE device:

The update should begin rolling out shortly, but if you don't feel like waiting, you can always hit up this post and flash our leak. Enjoy.

Owners of the Motorola Droid 3 are getting a hefty over the air system update that addresses a number of concerns with the firmware and included apps. Firmware version 5.7.905 clocks in at 224.8MB in size, so make sure you allow at least an hour on Verizon's 3G to pull down the file.

VZW Update

As for system bugs, the Droid 3 is getting a few Google security patches, a fix for mysterious device power ons, better camera autofocus, improved call quality, and a few stability improvements around HDMI and Bluetooth. You can also enjoy using a wired headset without any annoying feedback after the update.

A small OTA update started rolling out the HTC EVO 4G on Sprint this morning that brings but one enhancement to the device: the Sprint Connections Optimizer. Never heard of it? It's actually pretty neat.

It's basically a location-aware service that can enable/disable Wi-Fi and WiMax based on user defined variables (much like Tasker or Locale). For example, it can automatically turn on Wi-Fi when it knows you're at home or the office. Or, let's say you've connected to (and saved) Wi-Fi at the local coffee shop. Once the phone detects that you're there, it can automatically connect to the Wi-Fi.

HTC-One-X-Final

It looks like HTC's One X is receiving another OTA update, this time weighing in at ~35MB and bringing the device's software build up to 1.29.401.7. The OTA appears to have begun rolling out today, but unfortunately no one is totally certain what the update accomplishes, as HTC has (as yet) neglected to release an official change log.

Though HTC is remaining quiet about the update, some XDA users have speculated that it fixes color temperature/RGB accuracy, and perhaps fixes some other minor issues. In other bad news, the Update.zip file – while it is available for download – is not flashable.

You may remember that the A100 also saw an early update to ICS, with rollout beginning three days ahead of schedule. Users from around the world are reporting success with today's rollout, though there is some debate as to whether the "Gen2" variant of the Iconia Tab A500 is yet able to grab the update.

Update 4/23/12: This update is now rolling out OTA (thanks, Kristopher and others).

It's been a bit of a disappointing ride for the Droid RAZR and its beefier brother over the last few weeks - first, we were told that the ICS update was to start rolling out on April 4th, but that didn't happen. Instead, Moto was going to start a soak test of a new enhancement build, but... that didn't happen either.

Now, though, it looks like an OTA is finally set to start rolling out to the RAZR and MAXX. While it may not be ICS, it will bring quite a few bug fixes and enhancements to the device(s):

As always, the update is identical for both the RAZR and MAXX.

Owners of the unlocked GSM Galaxy Nexus (yakju) are waking up to an OTA update notification this morning that is said to fix the signal loss issues which came along with build IMM76D. Since this new build (IMM76I) doesn't bump the Android version, kernel, or radios at all, however, we're not sure if the update makes any other changes (though it's unlikely).

For those who want to update manually, you can grab the download right here. To install it, simply execute the following commands (rooted users with the stock recovery only):

This assumes that you already have ADB and Fastboot set up.

Samsung-Galaxy-S2

Here's a bit of good news for all of you who have an unlocked (global) Samsung Galaxy S II here in the U.S.: Ice Cream Sandwich is being pushed to your device right now. This makes the global GSII the first of the GSII family to officially get Ice Cream Sandwich in the U.S., as none of the three American carriers that offer the phone have begun sending the update yet.

To see if the 217MB update is available on your device, hit Settings > About phone > Software update.

Enjoy.

Looks like Big Red is on a roll with the OTA updates this week. First the RAZR/MAXX and Droid 4, then the LG Spectrum, and now the Casio G'zOne Commando. If you don't remember, the all but forgotten G'zOne is Casio's rugged offering to the Android world, packing lightweight specs in a heavyweight shell.

The OTA update, which is build number C771M110 for those who like to keep up with that sort of thing, brings a number of enhancements and fixes:

As always, we expect the update to begin rolling out at any time now, but you can check to see if the update is available on your device by going into Settings > About phone > System updates > Check New.
