PSA: The Galaxy Note II Is Available On AT&T Starting Today For $300 On Contract

It's finally arrived! The Galaxy Note II, which went up for pre-order back in October, has now gone on sale in AT&T stores and online. The Verizon version, for those of you who like be-uglied home buttons, won't be coming around for another couple of weeks, so sit tight. Otherwise, it's time to get your giant phone on!

Of course, the Note II is $300 on contract. That's a pretty hefty price tag on any day, and after Google announced the Nexus 4 for $350 off contract, it's going to get even harder for people to justify so much up front.

DROID RAZR HD And RAZR MAXX HD Will Arrive On Verizon October 18th, For $199 And $299 On Contract Respectively

We've already seen the RAZR M land on the nation's largest carrier. Now, Verizon is adding the other two RAZRs we knew were coming. The DROID RAZR HD and the DROID RAZR MAXX HD, apart from single-handedly breathing new life into my caps lock key, will be arriving on October 18th. The former will run you $199 on a new two-year contract. If you're looking for some extra battery life from your kevlar-coated phone, the MAXX version will sport a hefty $299 price tag.

For those who missed it, here are the specs of the two devices:

DROID RAZR HD / MAXX Specs

  • 4.7" SAMOLED HD 720p display with Gorilla Glass
  • 1.5GHz dual-core processor (most likely MSM8960 Snapdragon)

  • Verizon 4G LTE
  • 1GB RAM
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • 16GB (12GB usable) internal storage for HD, 32GB (26GB usable) for MAXX HD
  • 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera

  • 2500mAh battery for RAZR HD, 3300mAh for MAXX HD (21 hours talk time, 10 hours video streaming, 27 hours music steaming)
  • NFC-enabled (no mention of Wallet)

The little brother, RAZR HD, will come in both black and white options and have only 16GB of internal storage.

T-Mobile Offering G2 For Free Until The 20th

It isn't often that a US carrier offers one of its flagship handsets for free, but it would appear that that's exactly what T-Mobile is doing with the G2. Starting today and ending January 20th, new or add-a-line T-Mobile customers can snag a G2 from the carrier's online store for $0.00 (that's right, completely free!) with a new two-year contract. Party on!

If you've got your eye on Sprint and HTC's latest WiMax-capable baby, you're in luck - an anonymous source at Best Buy has just sent us the following shot of their system:

It appears the EVO Shift 4G, or SKU 1768561, will retail for just $149.99 on contract. As an unexpected (but very welcome) surprise, shoppers looking to upgrade to the phone from an older device will be charged the same $149.99 as new customers, provided they also sign up for a new two-year contract.

Those of you who prefer to buy your devices off-contract will be coughing up $549.99, while those who would rather go with a one-year agreement will be handing over $299.99.
