The Untold Story Of The HTC Nexus 9

This article was originally posted on The Verge Android forums but has since been edited and enhanced with illustrations created for Android Police.

In a presidential memorial library somewhere out in the Sunnyvale area, cell carriers, hardware manufacturers, and innovators all came to dance in a single hall. The lights were dim. The music was passionate in the John Hughes kind of way.

[Updated] Pssst, Sprint, That's Not A Nexus S 4G You Have On Your Front Page [Fail]

Everyone screws up at some point in life, but when a company as big as Sprint puts up a front-page banner showing a completely different, highly anticipated phone in place of one that's over a year old, we're going to have no choice but bring it up. And maybe even point the finger. Like so:

I'm sure we all wish the Nexus S 4G looked like that, but that is most definitely not it. I know, you're excited to get the word about the Galaxy Nexus out there (we are too, even though it's almost half a year late), but this is certainly not the way to do it.

"The Birthening" By Dan Morrill, A Google/Android Engineer, Or Why The Honeycomb Source Is Still Not Released

We don't always write about serious things here at Android Police, so this post is not going to stress your brain or teach you a new trick. Instead, just relax and spend 2 minutes watching this collage posted by Dan Morrill, one of Google's most recognizable Android engineers (actually, he posted it to Picasa, and we took the liberty to export it to YouTube for easier sharing and embedding). All original commentary which makes this collage that much funnier has been preserved - turns out Dan is quite a comedian.
