JetAudio, an audio solution that's achieved the title of CNET's most-downloaded and highest-rated media player, seems to have found its way to Android, recently becoming available in Google's Play Store.
For those not familiar, JetAudio allows users to play just about any type of audio file, from .wav to .mpc, .spx, .wv, .ape, and a ton more. Though movie apps like Flixster and Moviefone (which allow users to locate any theaters near them) clearly have their utility, sometimes it's nice to have an app specific to a certain theater brand. Precisely for this purpose, Cinemark Theaters, one of the biggest names in the "motion picture exhibition industry," has released an official Android app.
The application will grant users GPS directions to any domestic Cinemark theater, in addition to:
- Securely purchasing movie tickets
- Accessing "My Cinemark" favorite theaters
- Searching for their preferred Cinemark theater locations
- Viewing their gift card balances
- Viewing their ticket purchase histories

Hyatt Corporation, looking to make customers' hotel experience just that much easier, released an official Hyatt app to Google's Play Store recently. The app allows users to find Hyatt hotels across the globe, viewing details about each location, booking, managing reservations, and more, all from their Android-powered device.
Besides a full suite of booking and check-in functions, Hyatt's new app gives users access to weather, maps, and turn-by-turn navigation to their Hyatt destination. Read More

It's always strange to see a company directly comment on rumors about its own products, but Samsung doesn't seem to take issue with it, as a statement they made to The Verge late last night confirms.

Regal Cinemas, the largest cinema circuit in the US, recently got its own official Android App. The app brings a ton of easy functionality to your Android-powered device, allowing users to look up individual movies, read plot synopses, watch trailers, and order tickets with a credit card or Regal Crown Club number. The app also helps users find theaters and show times, and includes a handy click-to-call feature, as well as the ability to get directions using Google Maps. Read More
If you've downloaded anything Temple Run-related from the Android Market, you've been scammed. We do our best to keep you informed, but this app in particular seems to spark a lot of fakes. Thankfully, Imangi Studios, the developer behind Temple Run, announced on their Facebook page that the app isn't out yet, but when it is the company will announce it at least a week in advance.
