There is no shortage of launcher replacements for Android, but once in a while a new one comes along and takes the launcher experience to a new level. Such is the case with TSF Shell Pro, a new launcher currently in development by a team of developers who call themselves C3D. TSF, their brand, stands for The Special Forces, and special they are - just take a look at what the team cooked up.

The GO Launcher Dev Team, the branch of the GO Dev Team responsible for GO Launcher and a number of plugins/widgets, has released yet another extremely useful widget into the Market: GO Note Widget. This widget is a simple, yet highly functional addition to your homescreen that allows you to jot down a quick note, keep track of tasks and todos, or even draw or doodle in a note.

GO Note offers three different widgets: a 1x1 note, 2x2 doodle/handwriting utility, and 4x3 todo/schedule widget. If that's not enough choice for you, GO Note also allows you to customize both page and font color, so the widget can easily blend with any theme or wallpaper.

The popular do-everything notepad app Catch Notes received an update today that includes full Honeycomb support and provides some advanced features specifically designed for tablets. Among the new features is an improved UI that makes the app much more intuitive on the larger screen. You can now expect to see multiple views on the same screen, which will make note input a much more fluid task, along with an enhanced note editor that will allow for much faster note taking, and better overall organization.

This contest is now over. We have selected the winners - see if you are one of them towards the bottom of the page.

If you've ever used your phone for notetaking, you've no doubt heard of Catch Notes, and its impressive stats in the Market (i.e. a 4.5-star average rating and over a million downloads) are a great representation of its overall quality. It's got many unique features - organization is done with geo-tagging and Twitter-like hash tags, and the app also offers great social capabilities as well as SSL encryption. Furthermore, its fit and finish are unrivaled. Have a look:

And with the recently launched Catch Pro, the service got even better - the optional add-on brings 1GB of storage and greater attachment support (namely, compatibility with PDF, RTF, and Microsoft Office files).
