Only a couple of days after coming to the Galaxy S III, Samsung's Android 4.3 update is now rolling out to Verizon customers wielding Galaxy Note IIs. This is the update that has been going around the block for a while now, having already made its way to Sprint and T-Mobile versions of the handset. It comes with the same goodies, including Galaxy Gear support.

Along with Galaxy Gear compatibility, this OTA brings in the nuggets you expect with Android 4.3, Samsung KNOX integration, and updates to many of Samsung's pre-installed apps.

Samsung has been rolling out Galaxy Gear support to additional devices since the end of October, lumping the functionality in with updates to Android 4.3. A leaked schedule provided a timeline of when to expect various Galaxy handsets across the big four American carriers to get updated, and many OTAs started rolling out right on schedule. Others have not. The AT&T Galaxy Note II's update has been somewhat of a tortoise, but it may soon cross the finish line, as the long-awaited OTA is finally inbound.

The Galaxy Note II is getting an OTA update. Hooray, right?! Eh, kind of. The update clocks in at 165MB, but it doesn't bump the Android version or even add new features. What you're getting is 165MB of updates to Google and AT&T preloaded apps.

The update will be pushed down to everyone automatically over the coming days, but you can check for the OTA manually from the Software Update menu.

In the movie 3:10 to Yuma, Ben Wade (played by Russell Crowe) said "even bad men love their mamas" right after laying trash-talking Pinkerton Byron McElroy to rest (for saying bad things about Wade's mother, of course). I think this paints a pretty true picture: everyone loves their mother; rightfully so – none of us would even be here without our mamas, after all.

And if you want to show your mom how much she means to you this Mothers' Day, there's no better way to do it than with a massive and powerful smartphone.

Howdy, Sprintsters! If you're a Note II owner, it's time to head into Settings > About Phone > System updates again, as The Now Network is pushing another OTA to the massive handset. It's a small one, with only a couple of fixes in tow:

Build: L900VPAMC2

- Waking a device with the home key incorrectly brings up the Recently Use applications screen

- Home Screen security updates

Exciting, no? At least you'll have a safer home screen and won't have to deal with seeing recent apps when you turn the device on with the home button post-update, though.

For those who've been running the latest CM10.1 builds on their Galaxy Note II, a little change is rolling out in the CyanogenMod world today. Up to this point, the t0lte build has been the go-to for all versions of the LTE Note II. As of today, however, that changes – CyanogenMod has separated the AT&T and T-Mobile versions into their own builds to better handle the slight "hardware and device variations."

Thus, if you've been regularly flashing t0lte nightlies, you'll need to switch it up a bit and grab the appropriate version for your device if you're on AT&T or T-Mo.

Well, T-Mobile just got its first LTE device. It's not the already announced SIII, either – it's the Galaxy Note II. That's right, the first LTE-compatible phone comes to T-Mobile by way of OTA update. Owners of Samsung's massive smartphone should be able to pull the 9MB right now, which also brings "various device improvements" along for the ride. Basically, it makes the already-powerful device faster and less buggy.

For those who are rooted and want in on the LTE action, you can grab both odexed and deodexed versions of the ROM, as well as the new modem and kernel files for your flashing pleasure over at XDA.

Another day, another set of CM10.1 nightlies for some currently aging handsets. Well, maybe not that aging, but the point remains: new nightlies are here for the LG Optimus L9 and U.S. Cellular's LTE variants of the Galaxy Note II.

Update: Looks like the unlocked LTE variant of the SIII (i9305) just got its first experimental nightly, as well.

If you just can't stand not having stock Android, have been dreaming of CyanogenMod 10.1 for your device, or some other thing related to flashing this ROM, the time is here.

While Samsung may have made quite a splash with its new ad during "the big game" here in the States, its Canadian branch had a pretty big announcement of its own: an update that brings Multi-Window and Chinese language support will be coming to the Galaxy Note II on "national carriers" beginning this Wednesday. By "national carriers," we're assuming that means Canada's big three: Telus, Bell, and Rogers.

For those who may not be familiar with the feature, Multi-Window is Samsung's claim to fame on the Note II, as it's the standout feature that allows users to run multiple apps on the screen at one time.
