Official CyanogenMod Support And Nightly Builds Come To T-Mobile's LG myTouch

CyanogenMod has been growing lately. The AOSP-based custom ROM reached one million unique installs last month, and dozens of devices are currently supported, including a wide array of LG devices. It's time to welcome a new member of that family: the T-Mobile LG myTouch.

[Updated x2: LG Thrill] CyanogenMod Team Brings Nightlies To A Handful Of LG Devices, Adds Official CM7 Support For Samsung Epic 4G

The minds behind CyanogenMod have done it again, bringing nightly updates to several LG Optimus variants, and adding official CM7 support for the Epic 4G (not to be confused with Sprint's Galaxy SII variant).

Among the newly-supported LG devices are the Optimus 3D (p920), Hub (e510), Pro (c660), and Black (p970) (which is technically seeing the return of nightlies). It may be worth noting that the Optimus Hub and Pro both received RomManager support tonight, making it excessively simple to get CM goodness on the devices.

CyanogenMod Team At It Again - Nightlies Arrive For Several Xperia Devices

Just after expanding Nightly support to Samsung's Epic 4G and a slew of LG handsets, the CyanogenMod team has brought nightlies to a handful of Xperia devices, including Coconut (the Xperia Live with Walkman), Iyokan (the Xperia Pro), and Satsuma (the Xperia Active).

In a Google+ post earlier today, CyanogenMod announced that CM7 support had arrived for multiple new devices, throwing out a special hint to Xperia users.

CyanogenMod 7.1 Nightlies Expanded To A Slew Of Devices, Including AT&T's Samsung Galaxy SII, Motorola Atrix 4G, Optimus Black, And Tons Of Xperias

It looks like the Cyanogenmod team, in a continued effort to bring continually-updated Gingerbread goodness to as many devices as possible, have brought nightlies to a new crop of handsets, including AT&T's variant of the Samsung Galaxy SII, the Motorola Atrix, LG's Optimus Black and a handful of Sony devices including the Xperia X10, Play, Arc (X12), X10 mini, ST18i, and about five others.

CyanogenMod Nightly Builds Are A Go For The Motorola Backflip

The Motorola Backflip may be a slightly aged device, and not much news has come its way of late, but it seems that the time is finally here for Backflip users who have been patiently awaiting some CyanogenMod goodness. It's worth noting that CM has not yet released a stable build of CM7 for the Backflip, but the nightly updates should be able to hold ambitious users over until a stable release is available.

PSA: Cyanogen Nightlies Are Finally Back After Weeks Of Downtime

If you're used to downloading and installing nightly builds of CyanogenMod, Android's most popular custom ROM, you may have noticed that since the beginning of this month, the nightlies haven't really been... well, nightly.

A major hack of kernel.org, the home of the Android source code which is still down to this day, has derailed the process of building nightlies. Now that the Android source has moved to github.com/android and Chris Soyars has made the necessary changes to fix the build bot, the nightly builds are finally back.

Incredible 2 Joins The CyanogenMod 7 Nightly Club

Get it while it's hot, kids - the DROID Incredible 2 is officially merged into CyanogenMod, and the nightly builds are now being pumped out (direct link here). These nightly builds may contain bugs, dragons, and other potentially annoying/broken things - so flash at your own risk. Your Dinc2 will also need to be fully unlocked, meaning you'll have to use the AlphaRevX Beta 2 software, which you can learn about in this post.
