Like most in the Android world, I've been steadily increasing my comfort zone on how big a screen I want. Back in the day, I was obsessed with getting my phone as small as possible, like Zoolander. Then I got my first smartphone in the Windows Mobile 6 days, and ever since then every device I get has a bigger screen than the last, and I end up being happy about it. Read More
Good news, ROM enthusiasts: the Android Open Kang Project has released the much-anticipated first build of 4.2. Bad news: it's a completely new ROM, built from the ground up. That means that it won't be quite as feature-packed as you remembered, and device support is limited to the more popular Nexus models, at least for now. You'll also need to install a recovery that's compatible with 4.2 ROMs (the latest ClockworkMod and TWRP should do the trick) and do a full data wipe of your previous ROM. Read More
You! Yes, you, with the Galaxy Tab running Gingerbread! You are officially out of excuses for not having a Nexus 7. (Unless your excuse is that you don't have a hundred and eighty bucks.) It's been five months since the Nexus 7 went on sale, and just about as long since eager Android fans have been waiting to get their hands on official accessories. The wait might soon be over, at least for US residents: B&H Photo & Video has put up an online pre-order for the Pogo Pin dock for $39.99. Read More

Photoshop Touch may not be completely comparable to Adobe's desktop counterpart, but when you compare it to other photo editors on the Android platform, it's still the most powerful piece of software out there. At $10, it better be, too. Today, the best just got a bit better, especially if you own a Nexus 7. The app has improved support for 7" tablets. Though, there's a catch: the resolution on said tabs have to be 1024x768 or higher. Read More
