It looks like users lucky enough to be running Google's Chrome for Android Beta now have access to another sweet treat – Chrome to Mobile Beta. Reminiscent of Chrome to Phone, Chrome to Mobile Beta is an extension for both desktop and mobile versions of Chrome that enables users to send live URLs from their computer to an Ice Cream Sandwich-powered mobile device, also allowing copies to be sent for offline viewing.
Following up on the success of Cordy (a game we mentioned in part 2 of our feature on the best action/adventure games of 2011), SilverTree Media released Cordy Sky to the Android Market today, giving players even more of the freewheeling platform action they came to love in the original. Sky's gameplay is engaging, colorful, and addictive. In this adventure, Cordy meets Volt – a friendly robot who has been trapped on the mysterious planet for a while, and can help Cordy reach the big rocket in the sky to continue his quest to explore new planets.
Glu Mobile has done it again, introducing INFECTED to the Android Market today. Glu's latest mobile game jumps on the zombie bandwagon, following the story of a "strange virus," which has begun infecting citizens of New York City, transforming them into "insane, violent zombies."
INFECTED uses a gameplay style strongly reminiscent of tower defense, replacing towers with civilians, and turrets with defenses ranging from NYC cops to muggers, limousines, oil tankers, and more.
Meet Yello, a fish that was probably named by a two-year-old because the child thought he looked vaguely yellowish and he doesn't really know how to spell. He also doesn't quite understand how fish breathe, because he's rather sadistically yanked Yello from his bowl for "a walk." It's up to you to save Yello... by yanking on his tail and flinging him into piles of things until he eventually lands in his bowl.
Tongue Tied, a young yet popular game for iOS has finally gotten the Android treatment from its creators at Mojo Bones Ltd, bringing the slapstick physics/platforming game to Android users everywhere today.
Tongue Tied fuses physics and platform gameplay styles with the wacky story of two dogs (Mick and Ralph) who are literally tongue tied. As shown in the video above, players can expect to bounce, swing, and jump through about 60 levels "in search of the elusive WonderBone."
Besides offering dozens of levels to play through, Tongue Tied has score-based medals for each level, as well as 33 extra challenges with "some of the most interesting unlockables you're likely to see!" Adding even more to the game's replay value are trick and bonus scoring systems, allowing advanced players to be rewarded for traversing each level with extra panache.

When it comes to my Android devices' home screens, I'm fickle. It is rare that a wallpaper or layout will last more than a few days. That being said, I find that live wallpapers tend to have a much longer shelf life than their static counterparts, perhaps because they are – generally – so much more dynamic. Taking the concept of a truly dynamic LWP to another level entirely, Central Core Studios has introduced RadiantWalls HD – PlanetScapes to the Android Market, making your device "a window looking out onto the surface of the planet Avalon."
The wallpaper comes in two flavors – free and paid.
